we pushed a guildy at Mirumok yesterday .. he is lv 60 and he got 12 % in one hour .. so ye . they do work correct !

I don’t know what’s so hard to understand!!! Formula goes as following: Base EXP x (every single combat exp buff here!) E.G Base EXP 100 x (200% daily + 100% bell + 20% Black spirit buff + 2x 10% exp helmet crystal + 9% titles buff + 8% milk tea + 5% elixir + 20% draught + 200% event scroll + 530% event scroll) Total exp now is 1112 exp instead of 100! Not that hard to understand!

Missing a 100% representing the base rate. If you have absolutely 0 buffs, what does the base exp get multiplied by? 100% i.e. 1 Example: Take your formula and remove everything but 8% milk tea. Base exp 100 x (8%) = less exp! Should be 100 x (1 + 8%) or 100 x (100% + 8%)

It is hard to have zero buffs if you have pets knowledge and costumes. My title buff is 6%, my pets are only 4% skill xp but even as a new player I do not just get base xp gains.

I guess It's not repeated enough so here it is: Base EXP + Base EXP x Bonus1 + Base EXP x Bonus2 + ... (Remember the priority of the multiplication before replying something embarassing) And it can be simplified as: Base EXP x (1 + Bonus1 + Bonus2 + ...) Base EXP is an integer in the property of mobs like this dangerous foe. Bonus1, Bonus2, etc, are each of the exp bonus you have. A description showing "+50%" would be a bonus of 0.5, as you have to remember percentages have to be divided by 100. Then there's a table of EXP needed by level to get to the next. You take your total EXP (a property of your character), you substract the EXP that was required to get to your current level and you compare it to the required EXP to reach the next level to know at what percentage you are from leveling up. (Total EXP - Sum of each previous levels requirements) / Next level requirement x 100 (Once again, respect the priorities)

Wasn't sure if theses scrolls were working as intended. Did one hour training dummies with 530% (+week end buff, tea, bell, book) got 0.100 ( lvl 62). 1h solo miru with 530 + 200% = 0,800. 1h solo miru with 530%= 0,500/0,600 not sure.

This is where you learn that doll rates > solo exp rates in 99% of content. High end group rates > doll rates though, but it's still pretty sad to make more progress afk than solo. Been raising hell for a doll nerf, but I guess it's intended.

TotalXP = BaseXP * Multiplicator Multiplicator = 1 + SUM(XPBoost0, ... XPBoostN) E.G 200% Daily, 100% Weekend, 50% Combat Book Multiplicator = 1 + (200/100) + (100/100) + (50/100) = 1 + 2 + 1 + 0.5 = 4.5 BaseXP = 100 => TotalXP = 100 * 4.5 = 450

Kargor below has it as: Multiplicator = 1 + (200/100) + (100/100) + (50/100) = 1 + 2 + 1 + 0.5 = 4.5 So is yours correct, or his correct? You have base EXP + Base EXP x Bonus 1, he has base EXP + Bonus1/100

You see, this is your problem. You are unable to understand that we are saying exactly the same. The quote you're using from Kargor is exactly the simplified version I provided.

10% = 0.1 , 20% = 0.2, ... 100% = 1, 200% = 2 I just divided by 100 because there are many "smart" people that fail to correctly convert values before plugin them into a formula.

Easiest way to expain it is. base xp 100% + 530% = 530/100 = +5.3 x normal xp Add costume 110% = 530/110 = +4.81 x perceived xp Nighttime = 530/160 = +3.31 x perceived xp 200% daily bunus = 530/360 = +1.46 x perceived xp combat book = 530/410 = +1.29 x perceived xp helmet gems = 530/430 = +1.23 x perceived xp Depending on what xp bonuses you generally grind with this bonus will seem much less profound. SP bonus is where it is at, these are amazing for new builds. My initial test seemed weird as I got no noticable xp gains and I was using ZERO other xp boosts. Stll dont care as I am using them for SP and they are gaining the stated 530%. I can imagine with all the hidden xp on armors and gems etc. this is a bit difficult to figure out.

Yeah you are right its pretty simple its just that most people here dont know what their base xp actualy is so they are putting wrong numbers as base xp into their own calculations, not to mention a lot of them cant even calculate it correctly to start with. Heh why wud you do such an explanation people here seem to have problems grasping basic math prinicples this will just confuze em more

with your side. it would be possible to get max level in a single mob, cause the number is so big that it outscales the uint categorie (You get +- Infinite exp), the 32 bit system manufactur is: ([2^32]-1]) 4.294.967.295 wich is the largest number the bdo client should can calculate. the highest monster exp in game is: 206'269'274 for Gyfin Rhasia. Now if we would manage to get 2083% exp buff we would extend that range and since the game cant calculate that anymore we would get inifinite exp. so we would be instant max level. So bless god we dont get a 1000% exp event again, cause then if we use the scrolls and buffs we can get 2200% exp buff kill the mob and then destroy the game. Unless BDO architectur will change to 64 bit only. but i doubt that. Cause people has older computers. Disclaimer: this is only a guess, cause similar problems happend in other games (mostly singleplayer games) in the past. And i wonder if PA the developer is informed about that issue. If not, someone make break the system sooner or later. Didnt Hearthstone crashed for that reason, cause Kripparian pressed that Disenchant button? And extended that range?

Send a ticket. In that ticket say you want a refund because they advertise 530%xp yet you get less and you actually paid 1 loyalty. Ask them pretty please to give you back your 1 loyalty and they can take the stupid scrolls that 1 guy freely gave to everyone for 1 loyalty. Problem solved. I really think PA should stop giving us free stuff to prevent all this complaints about bs

I have my doubts that your XP is coded as unsigned 32-Bit integer. I think they used at least a 64-Integer. I guess they are using 128-Bit anyway.
