Ok so little update. Ban wave didn't do absolutely nothing. Main hack and its hacking code is still undetected by Xcode/server.
Not one of the users that were using --- tool were actually banned. The one who got banned were using other crap hack tools that were detected long ago.

Now lets see, this is the current count in latest client version (it was around 850 before maintaince):

And finally, a friendly haxor already updated the tool for current version:

@GM Rhotaaz So you plan to wait another 2 months for another useless ban wave?

We need action taken tomorrow not in 1 week ont in 1 month!!!!

God da*n GMs this is really unprofessional. Multi-dollar company is getting owned by some high school drop out that codes hacks in his spare time?

You know they're working on it, if you're such a brilliant dev then why don't you present them the solution?

Problem is 200 more users than yesterday before maintaince and ONLY on this public tool!!!

    The hacker community drows exponentaly.

And thats why u cant get anything of market, the have market sniper as well and basically unlimited supply of silver.

Please. If you have a good point to make, make an good argument for it. Please.

Write it up again, this time focus not on your anger and more on constructiveness.

I believe that can everyone can agree that more suspensions are coming, and that they acknowledge the problem shows that they are concerned about it.

As I stated elsewhere simply banning accounts is only a short term solution, even if the accounts are permanent. With the easily available free account keys its only a matter of time before those players are back.

These players are not your friends. They are not the friends of the community, and they are not a part of this community. They are scum. They are Anti-Game. They care nothing for you or your fellow gamer, but only for themselves and their short time enjoyment.

This problem must be dealt with at the code level. While that is going to take some time, the community must remain vigilant in reporting these occurrences and providing evidence via support tickets, regardless of loss of faith in the system.

Keeping the discussion on the forum, Reddit, and articles to keep the issue under the spotlight is also essential, but must remain in good taste.

The problem is that some of these batter have admittedly been doing it for a year or longer. They obviously don't care about it very much if it took them this long to do something about it. Just strange how something is done only after bad press starts showing up about it. If they actually cared, it would have been stopped a year ago or sooner since the bots have been known and available for that long. I mean the source code has even been available for quite awhile and they've still not been able to stop it.

The fact that you think they arent doing anything is beyond me. No matter how many they ban. Those pieces of shits will always - ALWAYS - find a loophole to freaking cheat and hack.

They need to show it. They've had at least 6 months since the free version of the bot came out and source code. yet the best they can do is ban 700 players in that time, and only after the bad press hit. This same bot has been in the game since pretty much the NA/EU release of it and is still in the game. If they cannot figure out how to stop it in that amount of time, I have no hope in the development team. More than likely though (as I don't think the devs are that hopeless on a technical level), they just haven't been doing anything. They don't come out and say that they banned botter or exploiters before a huge stink is raised. They are not be active like good game devs when it comes to these things. they are being reactive, and not reactive against the bot or exploit, but reactive against the blow back these things cause.

im honestly confused. doesnt this game have some sort of logs? how hard is it to detect that a skill B was executed X times in Y time units when it could have been executed once?

Yes they did do ****. You can see hackers creating threads on the forum saying how innocent they are already.

Not an expert and maybe I am wrong, but they need to put it server side to check that no? that means more server load = more lag or $ investement.

? Not really wtf. I dont know **** about how this stuff works, but im pretty sure the hackers are just able to bypass w.e the devs dish out. Its a back and forth and they DO show us everytime they do a banwave.

The one that just went free has never been stopped despite being around as a paid version for longer than 6 months. The have not had to counter anything Kakao or PA has did.

They do announce bans, but it has only been when the problem gets bad enough that complaints start coming in. They don't proactively do it. Look at WoW, FFXIV and many other MMOs, they proactively hunt, ban and implement blocks with teams dedicated to doing such. Kakao doesn't. If they are not proactively acting on these things, then they are not doing anything. This bot would have been stopped long ago if they were actually doing something. So again, they only do something when the complaints become loud enough, or it starts attracting bad press.

there are some particular nuances that are taboo to be discussed in the public fora, as to why there are those that may go unpunished , and because of the nature of those I'm not going to write about them. It's a controversial subject matter of responsibility in which the weight can not be fully understood until you are in the position responsible for those decisions.

But I will say the only way to succeed where vindication on "that avenue" fails, is to apply pressure firmly and consistently upon a developer solution.

So just because they dont say it everytime something gets banned they dont do it? No thats not how it works buddy. Not everything has to be made public, just because Square and Blizzard do it, dont mean everyone has to do the same.

The OP may be coming off as raging and or unreasonable but he is 100% correct and legitimate in every single one of his claims and accusations

If you don't agree with him you are damaging to the community

He is bringing awareness and wants this severe issue addressed

What about the fact that the other regions of BDO make their bans public?
