Altar of blood ASAP update needed

    Speaking of problems. Did AoB a few hours ago and the Altar was spawned with a health bar and no health as soon as we entered. When it asked us to go to the altar and press R to activate it, it was inside the "dead" altar and we had to iframe inside it to be able to interact with it.

    Also, the "dead" altar concealed the live altars HP and we couldn't see what levels it was at.

    bring some classes with higher aggro capabilities.

    We had exactly the same issue. Server change didn't work as well as changing Party lead and remaking the party, worked though after we all restarted the game.

    Altar follows the same game mechanics as the open world..... if you want to hit multiple targets, may i suggest playing a class that has a large area of dmg like witchard

    Idk Ihy you guys say to bring a class with bigger aoe...
    I mean, do you guys know how the game works? After a certain number of mobs you deal no dmg to the rest mobs cause you hit the limit of how many mobs you can dmg. This limit is implied by the game not by the skill you use.
    Can we please stop posting without thinking?

    Sooo lets lemove the limit from Blood Altar, we could finish it easier.

    The problem is I do not think it is an intended feature, even when skills say max target hit 15, etc. Not being able to aggro/dmg more then 8 is not so much a bug, or implemented feature...But more a system limitation with these guys...Private servers have been able to remove this limit, and everyone loved it..It seems PA lacks the talent to do this as well...Otherwise there would at least be a pearl costume item, or PTConvenience benefit to do so.

    Even if a skill says limit 8 targets hit, performing multiple skills on different groups should not have a limitation on how many mobs you can dmg.

    What would be the purpose of such a fabricated limitation on purpose?

    If anyones been to Soldiers grave and grinded for SP...They know this Mob limitation aggravation better then most.

    It is not limited to alter of blood it seems.

    The limit is for aggro hack, you can pull unlimited mobs with aggro hack and unlimited range for them to follow then just 1 skill profit. The problem is that in bdo you do 1 skill and only kill 8-15 mobs max.

    I guess, But honestly I dont see a problem with even that, what stopped people in any other MMO from doing that?
    That just speaks of the mobs lack of complexity and difficulty if that's possible...

    I wouldn't be opposed if they got rid of the artificial limit, then increased the mobs AI, on the outside...For Alter of blood though it does not seem to be working as intended.

    Increase mob AI? Game will be harder and there will be less noobs paying trying to get better.

    The thing that stops u here from aggro vac is that u can't dmg more than x mobs and that u can't trade stuffs from account to account .

    My only problem with aob atm is the 2nd round being harder than the next 2 rounds.

    If they did this they’d have to add a tonne more mobs to retain the difficulty
