So first of all rather than hotfixing special barters, you disable them. I guess gamebreaking bugs do not matter as much, when it is not connected to pearl purchases.
Then to compensate the people that lost many special barters during this week, you give every single player 1500 seacoins??????
So essentially you are barely getting people that barter up to what they would have made anyway and gift even people that have 0 barters in total 1500 coins? That in turn means you gift the whole playerbase over half a manos accessory, which actually negatively influences prices again for people that want to sell them. And many barterers would have had more than that if you just did not **** it up to begin with.
All in all people that barter get punished by you twice. Once because the compensation is not high enough and not linked to barters made durign this week and a second time by you inflating the economy with seacoins.

I feel tripple ****ed because I couldnt play during the period of ‘broken coins’ from specials and for the remaining 5 days I got nothing at all while I made almost 2k barters in that period.

A compensation based on accumulated parter during the special downtime would have been more fitting. Like 3coins/barter or something.

Should have just removed Special Barter, than changed it to what it is now.

From 100kk or 1000 Sea Coin every 600-700 barters, to testing your Skip button every 200 barters, because it's just useless barters.

Oh now it appeared, you're right. That's kinda BS. Everyone just got a easy upgraded +10 green Galleas with that too. Very sad.

People who don't barter won't do anything with those coins anyway.

Is that so? I have like 70 out of 75 people in my guild now that do not barter at all but can easily buy a manos accessory together with the seacoins from selling khan loot. And they could always just straight up buy tons of manos stones.

    Will they, though?

You seem jealous of people who don't care about it.

Jealous? Basically everybody, but the people that were affected by their mistake got compensated. And yes they will use the coins. My guild is the most lazy PvE **** Siege Guild and even they can buy manos stuff together with the khan loot sales now.
It is just lazy how they did it. If you gift it to everyone its not a compensation, but simply free stuff. So where is the compensation for the last week not havign special barters?
So next time they have issues with pearl items will everyone get a "compensation"? So that the people that paid for this particular thing get exactly what they paid for while everyone else who did not gets it for free?

While it's good that there is a compensation - even for those not bartering - but it feels like a slap for those that barter a lot. I mean how many specials did someone miss with over 2k+?!

doubt people will understand the issue if they dont barter alot sadly would hafta make it actually effect them
like node war issue causing node wars to be closed for a week and then the following week everyone gets a bunch of pvp seals to spend for free even people not in node war guilds
can u imagine the uproar over that compensation...

well OP is 100% correct. This was a lazy compensation approach.
I don't even know if this saying exists in english but this was the perfect example for the difference between well-meant and well done.
