I am experiencing the same issue

 

I got this 2 times in the last 2 days ...

 

Still crashes after the 4/21 urgent maintenance.
30 days value pack/ kama blessing that i can't use hurrrraaaaaaaaaaay

 

I fixed the problem for about 20 minutes by deleting the cache folder in all 3 locations (game directory, my documents and %appdata%) but now the crashes started again and I get crashed out before I even make it ingame anymore.

 

Yeah throw me in to this hat, been happening to me as well every other day or so. sometimes daily.

 

After some checking of my logs I have found something that is rather worrying to me. Now this could be nothing but I opened my Client log in my C:\BDO\Logs folder, (file was called Client_20180422105001.log) that was generated as the game was actually running and connected and there was tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of lines of errors with things like

I understand errors in MMOs happen and all but to fill a 3.56mb text file (668 pages in Word of errors!) is something quite unusual no? I digress though. So having this text file open, my game crashed as expected and I reopened it yet again to see what had been updated since the crash, if anything, and I found this added portion at the end.

Now what this means I'm not sure, but for the game to be logging this many errors that doesn't seem right to me. Any CMs want to confirm that this is normal? At least we'll know to stop looking there then.

 

This is getting ridiculous - can't log into Ellie's Lake for even 15 seconds without getting kicked. Won't even load other players. Been getting kicked all week like others - DURING THIS EVENT! Pissed off.

 

Still crashing in tray, so I can't get any AFK activities done.

 

The best events are the ones you can't even participate in because the game client keeps closing.

Not fit for purpose.

 

every since they launched the new patch of the koi event i cannot minimize my game because it crashes.

 

I posted this in the other thread too but adding here so others can see it.I had this problem since the Koi event launched and yesterday I couldn't stay on for more than 15-20 minutes without the game just closing. At the recommendation of a friend I ran "ipconfig /flushdns" while in game and I haven't crashed one time since. I have now been in game, minimized to tray for 15+ hours.

If you are having this problem try it out, hopefully it will work for you too.

 

I just uninstalled Nvidia geforce experience and its running way better. No crashing (so far). Not saying It will fix your issue.
But if you have this installed; its worth a try.

This worked for me, now working fine!

• From Start, search for cmd.
• Right click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command: ipconfig /flushdns.
• If the command was successful, you will see the message "Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache".
• After flushing your DNS, it's time to reset your TCP/IP protocol using the following command: netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
• Once the procedure has finished, close the Command Prompt and restart your computer

 

I am getting this issue now. I've reinstalled BDO twice and it didnt help.

 

Before the server migration I was disconnecting all the time when I would log in while only being able to stay connected randomly once or twice a week. When the server migration happened, I was able to play the whole time until today. Now it is doing exactly what it was doing before and disconnecting me at log in.

This game is beyond infuriating at this point. Would love to be able to play it because I love it, but I haven't been able to play consistently for the past 2 months.

 

Just commenting again, since it's been a while. This issue is still occurring and it's a disgrace that this bug has been affecting users for this long. We're paying money for an unstable connection and experience.

 

Ok so turns out, it did fix it temporarily but the issue is back.

 

So it's been 2 months or so after this problem was brought up and I'm still suffering the same issue, has anyone found a fix or is it just an ongoing problem that seriously hasn't been picked up on for 2 months?
