Berserkers need a new Gimmick

    Each class has a unique gimmick that gives people a reason to choose that class over any other.
    Berserker's gimmick was it's extensive variety of grapples. That was what made it unique.

    Now that Berserkers are limited to the same number of grapples as any other class, there is nothing unique about them anymore.
    There is now no reason to choose Berserker over any other class.

    Some people just want Berserkers to get compensated with Super Armors or higher damage, or whatever, but I think that's a mistake.

    They need their Gimmick.

    If that's going to be a new gimmick, fine, but there needs to be some reason to choose Berserker over another class.

    Or change how the grapple nerf works for the grapple class...

    So, you cannot chain grapple the same player, but 5-6k HP, 4 grapples, 1-shot burst skills, great HP sustain, and one of the best escape skills in the game is not good enough for you?

    Zerkers need a total overhaul after this patch. All our skills land multiple CC's making comboing almost impossible, Downsmashes are completely RNG so relying on a 30% proc on downsmash is kinda stupid (keep rng out of at least pvp). Slugfest is useless now as it applies stiff on every hit, devastation is useless now since it applies 2 stuns. We dont hvae SA/Iframes on our attacking skills like most classes do, our shakeoff iframes is still bugged since game release, our dmg modifier % are ultra low compared to other classes, and we now have a useless class talent that grants +30% grapple chance (but zerk isnt a grab class anymore.

    Zerk is the least played class on every server, only been good at softcap gear levels, now you need even more AP to stand a chance to kill some1 unless they are lowbies. We have 0 chances with block classes since they retain lingering SA after u grab them resulting in 0 cc after. They released striker which basically does everything better with better modifiers and bettet DP/SA/Iframes.

    Time to work PA, time to overhaul zerks cause we wont reroll, but we'll quit if u kill the only fun class there is to play in this **** cesspool of your game

    and for the love of god make lava piercer a no collision skill like strikers dash, im sick of getting stuck into teammates/small rocks/grass/air

    No, it's not.

    This post isn't about making Berserkers super strong, or even really buffing them.

    This post was about giving them back something unique.
    It's about giving Berserkers a gimmick again, like every other class in the game has, and Berserkers now find themselves lacking.

    We were the Grapple class. 4 grapples, and a passive bonus to grapples.
    Now we can't do any more grapples than any other class, and our passive is wasted.

    We need something that makes people say "I want to play this class because X"

    Ninjas/Kuno have a gimmick with stealth.
    Warriors/Valkyries have their tankiness and blocks.
    Wizards/Witches have their ranged AOEs, Heals, and PA.
    Musa/Mae have their insane speed.
    Etc.

    Every other class has something people can point to and say "This is the cool thing that attracted me to the class."

    That's all I want for Berserkers.
    Something we can point to as Berserker's cool gimmick again, even if it's different than our old one.

    It feels like they've recognised grab classes have an advantage over non-grab classes so rather than do something about grabs alone they isntead threw the baby out with the bath water.

    extend the range of every awakening skill and make zerk a good Mid/long range classe.
    reduce the cooldown of shooting mobility to (15 sec) to 7 sec
    same for Jumps sequence. 20 to 10 sec cooldown.

    give to zerk a additional Melee DR. equal to the mystic Magic DR bonus.


    Zerk dont have to return the king of 1v1. he need just to be viable during node war.
