There's been a VR mod out for a while now. I'm going to start using it, but I don't want to be banned randomly months from now when GM's realize it existed.

***Can I get some clarification? The mod doesn't give you any advantage other than changing the game play experience.

    Seriously, it does three things.
    -Change the depth of field
-Double the screens to make it compatible
-Macro the view controls to your view.

So, I hope it's OK and don't start banning people before giving an official announcement.

Honestly, I would recommend a separate FOV mod even if you don't have VR and finally want a good first person experience.

Problem is you need a very high and stable FPS for VR to avoid issues like motion sickness, dizziness/disorientation or eye fatigue. Very few people can get a completely stable 90 FPS in towns and at world bosses, for example.

It's cool, but I'd like some authoritative response.

All you need to do is download MyDreamSwift on steam and then use that to play BDO in VR. Ive done it.
Your not modifying game files, no macros, not changing the game play.
All you are doing is viewing the game on a different monitor (your vr headset) Which is not against ToS.

That sounds very interesting. How is the navigation and control (no mouse and keyboard visible through the VR head gear I guess)?

I'll have to check out that 'My dream swift' thing. I wonder if it needs to be used with BDO purchased through steam.

Either way if it's less invasive it'll be better.

GM says mods are against the rules. Better go with the other option.

I probably should have called it a plug-in. Meh. There's no telling if it wasn't a copy and paste response anyway.
