Fixed Coherent UI constantly crashing

    A CM recommended to run my "Windows 7 system" BDO game as Compatibility mode as Windows 7, how retarded was that, well it is so laggy it is sickning
    Windows 7 64
    running a game as windows 7 is what?

    changed my launchaer compatibility to windows vista and it works!! but game is laggin as fck!!
    so I remove the compatibility :3 and now im good

    this is funnier as most are running win 7 and they say to run in compatibility mode of win 7 and becomes not playable

    So I figured out how to mostly solve my issue with the coherent ui crashing.

    Windows 7 Pro x64
    Not running through steam.

    Once you log in through the launcher and start the game up. You will see three buttons, 'Start', 'Quit', 'Settings'.
    Choose 'Settings'.
    Choose the Language Section on the left.
    On the right should be a section labled 'Chat-Channel: Send & Receive'.
    Choose 'English'.
    It will ask you to restart the game.
    Problem mostly solved.

    NOTES:
    My language settings were set to 'International'.
    Also had abnormally high ram usage with this setting compared to my friends running bdo through steam.
    If it isn't clear enough from my Coherent_UI.log, the formatting is ****ed which often happens with multi-language programs. (especially from korea as they seem to have extreme issues using utf-8 or utf-16 for some unknown reason...)

    The game still passes invalid urls around but not as much.

    I did not try switching my local for windows 7 (which has solved similar language issues in the past) as it would break some other applications that I use.

    FINAL NOTE(S):
    Most of the game seems to work fine just so long as you avoid things that look like webpages such as "Beauty Album" and "Apply Most Popular" among others.

    Cute, wonderful, just great....

    Whole reason I'm pissed off is because the beauty album is the one thing not working for me.

    Yep, but it gets more annoying if you're a level 50+ character and you enter a town. It tries to pop up the 'Lv.50+ Congratulation' guide and crashes the coherent ui.

    UPDATE:
    Found a trick to get rid of the failed to load invisible 50+ guide. If it happens to you, if you open the 'Game Menu' off the bottom right bar. move the whole menu off to the side and click on 'Edit Ui'. It will close all windows, invisible and failed to load ones as well.

    Bug still there , Patch from June 6 did not solve it

    Pls change your game info that Win7 is not supported anymore.
    Anything else is a joke now

    @GM Dew This problem has been haunting me since the April 4th patch. I even put in a ticket (that got closed). Still no resolution to this problem. I am very disappointed. :(

    Yea, I also still have that problem for a month now. Will there be any fix soon? The work around by running BDO in compatibility mode is not applicable since the game will run on 5 FPS. How does it take over 1 month to fix a problem like that? Will there be a fix at some point or not?

    This Bug also affects the Promotion View in the Pearl Shop perhaps this upgrades the priority.

    Dude, I can't even open up Guild Info page and the calendar still hasn't even been fixed yet.

    I was just coming back to BDO for the first time in months and was getting ready to play again.I am getting the same problems on Windows 7 as everyone else.It does not make for a good start.

    The problem exists since 9.05.2018.....maybe it will be solved 2020, or should we wait another month for any reply from you?

    Well its hard to stay constructive with another Week past and still nothing done. @GM Dew you guys and PA realize this bug affects almost a third of all Windows users? Not to mention that multiple issues with CoherentUI x64 never got addressed since the launch of BDO in EU.
