As the title says, Thats the error message I get trying to open the market in game through either an NPC or the menu option.

Playing the game through steam with my friends.
I'm the only one that couldn't use the market, they were all using the Stand Alone client and Ibwas the only one playing through steam.

Things I have done to try and remedy the issue:
    Update windows (win10)
    Update steam
    mess around with
    SSL 3.0
    TSL 1.0/1.1/1.2 & experimental 1.3
    Uninstall the game
    Reinstall the game
    Restart the game
    Restart my computer
Downloaded and tried the non steam client
    Switching to DNS, tried 8.8.8.8 & 9.9.9.9
Scouring hosts to check for BDO entries

And I'm running out of things I can try

Does this mean, you play the SA version? Or are you playing the NA/EU version?
If you play the SA version, you are wrong here becuase this forum is only for NA and EU.

    Sorry for the confusion.

SA as in Stand Alone client, we're all on EU but I was the only one attempting to play it through steam.
I've since downloaded the non steam client myself and attempted accessing the market to no avail.

OK thank you for clearing this up.

The error you get was a problem for Windows 7 users since it does not support TLS 1.1/1.2
But since you have Windows 10 this shouldn't be a problem for you.
And because you also tried the Webclient, it's not Steam related.

Have you checked you hosts file for BDO entries? (if there are any please delete them)
Have you tried setting your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9? (I would prefer the second one, because it's not google)

No BDO entries in hosts, and no luck with 8.8.8.8 nor any luck with 9.9.9.9

Tickets take some time and at the moment it even takes more time as normal.
They get alot of tickets each day because most people are at home and got nothing better to do. And I also think some of the support team are in homeoffice because of corona.

I figured as much, and with them running that 4year anniversary promotion on steam I figured they've a decent influx of new players with all sorts of issues to help as well, and I'm pretty sure the issue is an outlayer and I don't expect it to be solved anytime soon.

Which is unfortunate as I thoroughly enjoy the game, and it's combat system primarily.

With 100% exp I did outlevel my kit somewhat quick and I can't upgrade it through the market.
