    Greetings Adventurers!

Do you remember the Q&A 2019 made by our beloved ambassadors, where you could ask a question directly to the developers? Well, the votation has been done, so we filtered the most common questions and delivered to the developers.
Today we are happy to share with you a part of that list which has been already answered by Pearl Abyss.

However, regardless of our list, we have received from Taiwan a lot of questions that have been answered by the developers as well. We believe that many of these answers could be of your interest too and therefore we decided to share them all right below with our community.

We hope that you will enjoy it and will find inspiring and useful information through your reading.

    EU/NA Q&A: 2nd Part UPDATED

    Question 1

In a typical MMORPG, a player progresses in level and strength to move on from one area to the next with each area providing resources to continue progression. While monster zones in Black Desert are structured in a similar manner that also provides incentives for players to re-visit previous areas so they are not forgotten, many of them are solitary hunting grounds. In a recent Feedback Library Survey, over 75% of over 900 players that responded said they wanted more grind zones that offered "party style grinding", and chose Mirumok Ruins in Holo Forest as one of their three most favorite monster zones. Will the developers consider adding more monster zones, or change some of the existing ones, that feature a party-based grinding experience?

One of the coolest things to experience in an MMORPG is to go through adventures with other players within the game world. Black Desert provides more than the party play you see in other games. Rather, in Black Desert, we try to encourage more freedom in terms of party play, in which players can interact more organically with each other. This is because we believe that it is more natural and appropriate for players to create their own roles as they play the game.

Though you can certainly enjoy Black Desert alone, there are also ways to enjoy the game with other players such as when players play Savage Rift and Altar of Blood, or fight field bosses and Guild bosses. We continue to think about ways in which players can enjoy the game together. As you mentioned in your question, Mirumok and Gyfin Rhasia Temple are great examples. We are aware of such requests, and are always thinking about ways to make the party play in Black Desert unique. We have also somewhat solidified a direction for the game.

Just like how we have tried new things in other areas, we are also actively trying new things for party play. We hope you look forward to what we have in store for the game.

    Question 2

Many players are under the impression that "Succession" (or "Tradition") Skills are supposed to be the answer to "class balances", and while they are optimistic about the Traditional Skill System, they believe that there are still core fundamentals that need to be addressed. Does PA consider the "Succession" skill changes to be the "final stages" of class balancing, or will they continue to commit to analyzing and making changes to current classes even after succession?

After you create a character, you level up your character up to Lv. 56, and then you change the way you fight through Awakening. Once Awakened, your character can perform powerful skills using Awakening Weapons. This caused players to only use Awakening Weapons. The biggest reason behind why we added Succession was to allow players to continue fighting the way they used to using their main weapons. Ranger is a good example. Ranger uses ranged skills using the Longbow, and then uses melee skills using the Kamasylven Sword once Awakened.

There was a lot to think about for Succession. For example, if we made Succession to be stronger than Awakening, then this would defeat the purpose of implementing Succession. Instead, it would feel like a 2nd Awakening. Conversely, Succession would become meaningless if we were to make it weaker than Awakening. We believe the players should be able to select a combat method that suits their taste. We do not want to place restrictions on how they play the characters. Now, we believe the two combat methods (Succession and Awakening) can coexist.

We believe balancing is a separate issue. Of course, as we introduce Succession, more players will utilize main weapon skills and this might affect the balance of the game. However, we are aware that it is difficult to balance out the game through only Succession.

We will continue to balance both main weapon and Awakening Weapon skills, together. We hope that the introduction of Succession provides you with more options on how you want to play the game, instead of solely playing with Awakening Weapons.

    Question 3

Although Red Battlefield is typically considered as one of the main PvP entertainment outside of Node Wars and Castle Siege, the available area for RBF has begun to feel "stale" for veteran players. Will the developers consider expanding the content of Red Battlefield to utilize other hunting zone areas so that players have different landscapes on which to enjoy Red Battlefield?

We are aware that there are many adventurers who enjoy the Red Battlefield. We are currently preparing a new type of Red Battlefield. This involves introducing a new map, and also a new set of rules. We will think about ways to provide a more varied PvP experience. Thank you for your opinion.

    Question 4

Obtaining the best gear and increasing your power has always been a vital role in the progression of every mmorpg, however many players believe that Black Desert has fallen victim to the typical mmo problem of "the gear makes the player" when it comes to PvP content. Previous changes created "gear score caps" on Tier 1 Node Wars and although these changes were very well received, many players have found ways around those caps. Have the developers considered using Gear Score Caps on other Node War Tiers, and have they considered the other problematic stats that are not capped in T1 Node Wars such as Evasion, Accuracy, HP and Human Damage?

The core of an MMORPG is the growth of a character and its method would vary between level, skills, understanding of your character, etc.. Items provide a more intuitive growth of your character's growth, which in turn provides relative power levels among players.

We wanted more players to participate in Node Wars, so we limited the gear score to lower the barrier to do so. The limits applied to Tier 1 Node Wars are not only AP/DP, but also evasion and accuracy. Stats that are not applied to this limit are, as you mentioned, HP and damage reduction rates. We maintain the current limits because they are closely related to characteristics of the classes, but we are aware this is not a fundamental resolution.

The basics of winning a Node War is to have stronger characters, better gear, and more allies. However, as it is a war, the roles of individuals and strong cooperation are key factors over the power of individuals.

To strengthen the strategic elements of Node Wars and Siege Wars, we're continuously adding and discussing more mount related features. We recently added Ogres and Trolls as mounts to use during Conquest Wars and shortened the process times of the Elephant Nursery and siege towers. We plan to add more contents in the future to bolster strategic and cooperative plays in Node Wars and Siege Wars.

    Question 5

Dedicated Node War and Siege players strongly feel that the Mercenary System has caused a degradation of not only what it means to be a part of a Guild, but that it has also undermined the efforts of many Guilds that have and are continuing to work hard to become better and stronger. Will the developers review the Mercenary System not only in terms of how it affects Node Wars, but how it affects the morale of the Guilds themselves and the meaning of building and growing a Guild?

The Mercenary system is there not only to support small or weaker guilds, but because there were many players who continuously left their own guilds to participate in Node Wars and Conquest Wars and then returned to their guilds afterwards. Thus, the system allowed for these players to participate regardless of the guilds they are in.

Fundamentally, your own guild has to become stronger to participate in higher tier Node Wars, and it is important to maintain good relations with your allied guilds. We do recognise the Mercenary system could affect the morale of those guilds and hinder their growth. As such, we will look into how this system affects guild growth and will continuously improve upon the Mercenary system based on your feedback.

    Question 6

With many updates to leveling and progression, reaching levels 56 and above have become drastically easier. Players often choose to bypass Mediah completely and proceed to Valencia as the monsters are just as easy but offer better experience rates via Marni Stones and better overall value of drops. Players have come to consider Mediah as a "barren wasteland" without much current day value and players typically have no reason to re-visit Mediah on a regular basis for monster hunting. Have the developers considered the decline of desirability of Mediah hunting grounds, and are there any plans to create incentives to make Mediah a considerable option for progression play-through from 52 to 58 compared to Valencia?

Mediah is an important part of a character's journey to reach higher levels. As it is a part of the journey, it is not where your character remains. While there are many players who stay for a short duration in Mediah and move onto Valencia, there are still plenty of adventurers who spend an apt amount of time in Mediah. This is because Mediah offers items such as the Asula accessories and Black Abyssal weapons to help you on your adventures.

That said, we do recognise that, based on efficiency, Valencia has more to offer than Mediah. While all zones of Mediah cannot have the highest efficiency in the game, we do agree that it needs some tweaks to make it more relevant. Just like the step up from Sausan Garrison to the Shultz Guard area, and Hasrah Ancient Ruins to Kratuga, we will discuss the best ways to make the adventure through Mediah more meaningful.

    PART 2:

    Question 7

Having a variety of activities to participate in is essential to creating and building a successful and thriving Guild. Missions are a core content of guild activities and provide the main path to leveling up a guild and unlocking additional benefits. However much of the guild mission content is regarded as being unbalanced in the aspect that many missions can be completed with just a handful of people or "solo" while other missions require an abnormally large amount of members but yield the same amount of rewards. This leads to many guild missions being undesirable. Have the developers considered this imbalance between the various assortment of guild missions, and have they considered adding unique rewards to more time intensive guild missions?

We are always looking for ways to improve upon guild related contents and do our best to share any updates we have on them. We've recently changed the boss summon scrolls system for them to be more intuitive, which in turn would help improve ease of use and lower the barrier for guild raids. We're also looking into other QoL aspects we can improve upon.

We are aware that specific quests out of all the guild quests, divided into combat, life skills, and trading, are preferred over others. We believe guild missions should serve their roles and purposes appropriately, as they directly affect the growth of guilds. As mentioned in your question, we will discuss the best way to give additional merits, such as special rewards, for guild missions that require more time and effort to complete.

    Question 8

Recruiting Guild Members has become an increasingly more difficult task for guild leadership in the current day of Black Desert. Many new players are often looking for a guild but have difficulty finding guild leadership or a suitable guild that they may want to join. A survey done in August of this year, a lot of players responded in positive favor of having a "Guild Application System" where adventurers could apply to a guild. Would the developers consider the possibility of adding a Guild Application System to not only make it easier for new players to find the right guild, but also for existing guilds to continue to grow and prosper?

We recognize that both guilds looking for members and those looking for a guild have trouble finding what they want. For this, we plan to improve upon the current guild joining/recruitment process. Guilds will able to post details of their guild, while new players can read through these postings to find the guild that best suits their play style. We plan for guilds to be able to display more details, so both parties can find what they are looking for more easily. We hope to update you on this in the near future.

    Question 9

Joining a guild can have many benefits for a player versus adventuring alone. Guilds can even offer gear assistance to their members through the Guild Shop. However, in order for a guild member to purchase gear from the Guild Shop that member must be given an Allowance and the cost is deducted from the Guild Funds. This make it very tedious and difficult for guild leadership to manage guild funds appropriately and often leads a lack of ability to help members through the Guild Shop. Would the developers consider creating a "Personal" Guild Shop, where the player can spend their unclaimed mission wages that they have earned on Guild Accessories, Guild Armor, and Guild Weapons without the need of leadership supervision or direct loss to the Guild Fund?

Guild funds is the core of the current guild management system. Therefore, we believe management of the funds must be as transparent and accurate as possible. If guild members can use their funds without the help of guild officers, it is open to preventable accidents and abuses. That said, we do agree that the process of receiving an allowance is somewhat of a nuisance, but we've placed the allowance system as a precaution and preventive measure against abuse and plan to keep it that way.

Unclaimed wages from completing guild missions are part of the guild funds before being claimed, so the officers have no idea how much of it still needs to be claimed. In other words, if funds are used at this stage without check, there is no way to tell how much of it was used in the guild shop. Also, the wages given at the end of guild missions is sort of a bonus, hence its purpose is somewhat different from the allowance distributed for use in the guild shop.

And of course, the purpose of the guild shop is for guilds to support their members. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to maintain transparency in the use of guild funds, so we wish to keep the current system where you must consult with guild officers to be able to use guild funds.

    Question 10

Every player that has acquired a Dream Horse is very fond of their new mount, and avid trainers continue to awaken new dream horses even after obtaining one for themselves. Although Dream Horses are unique in appearance in their own right, trainers would like some visual variations among the dreams horses. Would the developers consider adding rare opportunities in Dream Horse Awakenings such that a horse may be awakened with a color variant of that dream horse such as a Nightmare Arduanatt, Blue-Flame Doom, an Ice-themed Dine, or something similar?

Thank you for the great idea. We are also discussing ways to give them various charming characteristics. Though nothing is set in stone yet, we will discuss methods to add more variety to improve upon current Dream Horses.

    Question 11

Horse Training has long been one of Black Desert's most loved contents, with many players investing countless hours and vast amounts of resources to capture, level, and breed horses to eventually attempt awakenings for T9 Dream Horses. Over the course of time, many lower tier horses have practically flooded the horse market and most often going unsold or undesired. Would the developers consider researching why many horses go undesired on the Horse Market, and develop incentives for Horse Trainers to breed and train horses in the pre-courser tiers 1 through 7?

As you mentioned, horse training is a content that requires a lot of time, effort, and resources. Because of this, the reward and sense of accomplishment is high when you finally obtain a Dream Horse. We believe this is the reason why horse training was and is loved since it was first introduced.

That said, we will look into how we can merit each level of training and to give more meaning to pre-course horses from tiers 1 to 7.

Q: While I have a lot of friends playing online games, the ability to obtain equipment for beginners is too limited and there are not enough channels to make friends, so whenever I invite my friends, they quit after a couple of days. That’s why I hope you will hold events for beginner users. Not events like new user login rewards, but something like thank you letters, rewards earned by achieving special objectives and ways for new users to make friends or else new users will quickly leave.

    A. We constantly examine and analyze why new Adventurers leave the game, and use the results of these analyses to decide what needs to be applied to the game. In order to reduce the feeling of burden from things like weight limit in the early stages of the game, there was a patch to reduce the amount of trash loot. And due to these reasons, certain quest-exclusive items are given until Calpheon and enhanced Asula accessories are given at Mediah. Your feedback also mentioned “interactions with others” through gameplay, and recently we’ve developed independent chats called chatting groups. We plan to reveal this to you soon as we’re actively looking into updating this to our live servers. In this new soon-to-be prepared space, we hope new Adventurers will be able to settle into the game by being able to freely talk about their common interests. We’ll make sure to present the ideas you’ve given us to in a form that fits Black Desert to everyone.

Q: More minigames would be nice for when existing users are sick of defeating monsters or participating in events.

A: Of course, we know that it isn’t easy for those who have enjoyed the game for a long-time to experience something “novel.” We are continuously pouring our efforts into developing content keep giving you fresh content, such as the Adventure Log, Dark Rift, and Altar of Blood contents that were added this past year. We think this idea about minigames is great, and the fact that even small content can also give the game a feeling of freshness is something we’ll reconsider and pay closer attention to in the future.

Q: It seems like the standard for event rewards can’t keep up with the service period, so users who have been playing for a long time don’t want to participate.

A: We think events are an important way to reinvigorate the spirit of the game in the Black Desert world. Nevertheless, if the rewards are too good, then the situation where one is always dependant on events rears its head. We believe rewards should be a healthy way to repay our Adventurers for playing the game. For events, we want to organize them into more fun moments to give you more enjoyment and excitement. Of course, we will continue to think of appropriate rewards that fit this, and also events that can be enjoyed on a smaller scale by a small but diverse group of Adventurers.

Q: Fishing and cooking are relatively simple, but you can earn a lot of Silver. Can’t there be a way for users that love PvE to earn a lot of Silver?

A: We examine the data for earnings from defeating monsters and life content every day. According to these results, we will continue to fine-tune the balance of the game economy. In particular, we agree that defeating monsters requires an appropriate reward as it takes more energy (i.e. more intensive play) than some other content. Hence, we are holding detailed discussions for improving monster zones, and expect to patch it to live soon.

Additionally, besides the basic loot dropped from defeated monsters, whether or not accessories with high worth or Scroll Written in Ancient Language items (from which you have a chance to get Memory Fragments) drop has a large impact on how much you earn. We are constantly watching and analyzing this. Recently, the reason we lowered the drop rate for Black Magic Crystals is to raise the value of this crystal, so Adventurers defeating monsters can earn more. We plan to make continuous improvements instead of huge changes at once, and are looking into the addition of special items, so each monster can have its own unique characteristics.

Q: Users usually stay around Lv. 62 with users who like defeating monsters leveling up to 65 or 66. However, it is not very rewarding to level up so high, and some users don't think it's not worth it.

A: This part is directly connected to the direction of Black Desert. We wanted to make sure the player’s level did not have a large impact on the balance or rewards. We believe if the effect levels have goes up, it’ll just be another thing, in addition to equipment, to worry and stress about. Furthermore, this would only widen the gap between existing Adventurers and new Adventurers. Nevertheless, the fact that there is a lack of feeling of achievement and glory for those who achieve Lv. 63 or higher, is something we believe we missed. We will update the game content or find another way to alleviate this when there is an opportune time.

Q: I hope you add more game content. Like an amazing battlefield, or dungeon content.

A: This is something we are very worried about. While it is difficult for us to give you a definite and clear reply, we can say that we've been constantly thinking on how to approach this. However, whatever form such content may take, we don’t want it to be content where you can be on equal footing with other Adventurers without putting forth the effort, because we believe this would be a betrayal to the Adventurers who have diligently played the game.

Q: Why did we get the Great Expedition update when we haven’t gotten the Territory War update? When do you plan to release the Territory War update?

A: The reason why the Territory War update has been delayed is because we decided to first prioritize improvements for Node/Conquest War. In order to evolve more fun and tension-filled war content, we are developing new elements and trying new things. We are continuously making changes to provide a more combat-focused atmosphere, such as more improvements for the preparation process for the Node War and Conquest War, and faster installation of new siege weapons and buildings in the beginning stages. After the Node/Conquest War has been revamped, Territory War will be introduced to you in a more polished form.

Q: I’m a user who enjoys Node Wars. However, I don’t want to play the same areas all the time, so it is great to join a different guild and to experience different areas. While I’ve heard similar answers before, I wish you’d remove the restriction where new guild members cannot be War Heros.

A: We added the Guild Apprentice function to prevent the abuse of receiving guild incentives, etc. by switching guilds every 24 hours. Thus, we plan to keep the apprentice-tier restriction and ask for your understanding in this case. Why not take the apprentice period to first become familiarized with the guild, and then begin your fun War Hero career?

Q: What new regions do you plan to update over the next two years? \

    A. According to our long-term plans, new regions are continually being developed and we’ll announce them when the time arrives. So far, we’ve endeavored for new updates every week; we’re preparing and planning a variety of content everyone can enjoy - such as new regions, monsters, boss raids, and new classes - that we’ll showcase in the future. Presently, we’re focusing on a new class and O'dyllita, and hope to reveal them to you soon. Afterwards, we’re preparing an expansion to the Great Expedition, which includes new ships and a variety of new content.

Q: Do you have to keep changing things? The reworks are too fast.

A: This is something that we really think is very important. While change can be a joyful event for existing Adventurers, on the other hand, it can also cause anxiety. It’s the reason why we announce the update details and patch updates to the Black Desert Global Lab in advance before applying changes to the live servers; to alleviate this anxiety and get more feedback from our Adventurers.

However, we believe games must have change to maintain a certain level of freshness. While keeping the changes well-thought out and careful, updates of Black Desert will continue in the future.

Q: Has there been any recent plans to change the description or function on how to obtain “Rich Merchant's Ring”? I want to have it, but the risk is too high.

A: Originally, the “Merchant Prince’s Ring” was set as the highest rarity among the “treasures” of Black Desert, because it had a really powerful effect before the Central Market rework. However, this item’s effect became meaningless as our game pursued a free market economy after the opening of the Central Market. Therefore, we plan to rework this item’s effect, and once this process is finished, its rarity will also be changed. With so many Adventurers awaiting this for a long time, we will make sure this patch is updated as soon as possible

Q: Will ship skills be changed? I hope ship skills of the sailing tier will be revised. The skills I have now are useless. I work hard every day sailing, but I’m really sad that I only get skills that I can’t use when I level up.

A: The artisan sailing skill, AbruptTurn, was greatly improved with the recent Great Expedition update. Yet, it is true that this skill has no much use for the current ocean topography and barter content. However, we expect its use to increase significantly with the introduction of navel battlefields in the future. The master sailing skill, Smooth-Turn, is a skill also designed for combat. Before long, we will try to design and release master skills that will help you maneuver your ship.

Q: It’s a lot more difficult to enhance Capotia accessories to PEN than regular gold-colored accessories. And the two have the same use. Why do users have to use the Capotia system?

A: We’ve added the enchantment of Capotia accessories for the future rather than for the present. Of course, we think that Capotia accessories have enough merit on their own and that they currently work well as a foundation for leveling up. However, we judged that there should be a device for increasing the performance of this type of accessories, as their merit would become weaker with the passage of time. Hence, we added a way to enhance them into a new form. But if this enhancement becomes easier than it is now, we believe it would betray the efforts of countless Adventurers who worked hard to enhance other accessories. Thus, we plan to maintain the current situation for now.

Q: I’ve been looking forward to the airships. Do you have plans to continue updating or begin updating flying mounts?

A: After the release of the Sky Balloon, we have not considered further development of flying mounts until now. A little further in the future… if Black Desert undergoes a big change, we will actively consider something appropriate.

Q: It’s been a long time since the guild system has been updated. I hope you would make up a more meaningful system or way to play the game. Right now, it is unclear why the guild exists. It’s just people gathering together and chatting; there isn’t much interaction between members. Sometimes I wonder if I’m just playing an RPG instead of an MMORPG. I would like you to add a guild lobby to the guilds and let guild members decorate this guild lobby; let members create a variety of furniture that can be installed for points, based on which buffs, AP, and EXP can be added. This kind of system would make users feel more engaged.
A: We are making preparations with the goal of providing a bigger variety of guild content. Our current belief is that the main point of guild-type content is “ to say your hellos and goodbyes in a good mood.” The difficulty level of guild raids is low and things like Afuaru’s Summoning Scroll exist in order to preserve this kind of easy atmosphere. While the newly added Khan raid requires strategy, its difficulty level isn’t too high either. Honestly speaking, we’d like to get more feedback on guild-only content from our Adventurers (which will vary from country to country). There are many things to consider, such as whether expanding the guild content will create stress and whether these things will truly be fun or not. We will continue to study and evaluate guild content, and conduct more development tests based on the feedback you’ve given us. Thank you.

Q: Last year, we were promised that the same hairstyles would be available for all genders, but why haven’t we heard any news yet?

A: Creating a new hair type requires more time than one would expect. We are currently making new hairstyles for both genders, and preparing class-exclusive hairstyles to be available for other classes. It seems like it is possible for this to be updated to the live servers sometime next year.

Q: Besides Altar of Blood, do you have any plans for another type of group dungeons?

A: We are always studying how to design dungeon-type content that will fit Black Desert. Looking forward, we will try to add content that can be enjoyed alone or together with other people. The development of the instanced dungeon - Altar of Blood, which you mentioned before, has already been completed. However, we are careful when it comes to the introduction of specific connected content. This is because we want Adventurers to have their own playstyle in the vast world of Black Desert, and we think our top priority is for Adventurers to be able to enjoy the experience. It’s why we are so cautious when telling you how we will introduce dungeon-type content right away. Still, we are always open to adding something new, and will always consider how such things can make playing Black Desert more enjoyable.

Q: I want older systems to be updated. For example, Team Battles and Savage Rift
A: Team Battles were developed for friends or guild members to enjoy PvP without feeling too burdened. We’ll look into ways to revitalize it, such as adding more honor rewards. Requested by Adventurers, Savage Rift was the first instanced dungeon group content introduced to Black Desert. Afterwards, we’ve gained a lot of know-how through the Altar of Blood, and we’re going to either update the the way you defend in these modes or change it completely with a new set of rules.

Q: Please make it easier to separate each position or permissions within the guild.

A: We recognize that Adventurers lack this part when running or sharing a guild, so we are preparing improvements. As a start, we updated a guild storage log in Korea on the 20th, and will further divide guild positions so you can set the right permissions for each position.

    Cheers,
    BDO Team

I love how the Taiwan interview asked direct questions that are incredibly important. For example, Taiwan asks about PVE channel, dungeons, specific class balance, balance over all, BCM, and so on and on.

EU/NA went on to ask useless questions for the most part. Also, why such a disparity in number of questions? Seriously, only six questions? Is the NA/EU going to ask 30 questions later?

What the duck, What are they smoking ? What relationship ? Those "wHeroes joining 1 guild to win siege, and next week they join against that guild,i bet they don't even look at guild name.
Also i would like to know, how supporting players who cannot stay in 1 guild and consistently joining and leaving support relationship and guild morale. Its basically like hire some dude who change 50 jobs in this year and wonder if he leave in next week.
I Believe, that if after 2 years of class existing, you fixing "wrong effect was applied" - you don't care about balance at all.

Or you could make the lvling up process more challenging, your storytelling more interesting and make people care about your gameworld so people are not forced to ignore 90% of the other game content by lvling up to 56 and above in just 60 minutes of playtime :XX

The answer to question number 5 is really weird.
The devs here fail to recognize the real problem with the last few siege/nw or guild changes.

    1. If you hold a region you are locked away from doing NW -> this didnt change with the War-Hero system. It actually got worse cause the devs added the "Apprentice" system which is a really bad system. In the Taiwan Q&A the devs say you should take your time to get integrated into your guild. This makes kind off sense on paper but in reality guilds in BDO dont work like this. The apprentice system is nothing more then a RP tool for casual people to make fun off each others guild ranks. The usual player who is interested in PVP joins a PVP guild. Once he joins it, he wants to do PVP properly and instantly, meaning placing traps or buildings or w/e which he isnt able to do because of the apprentice system. On top of that he doesnt get any Payout for doing pvp. Additionally he cant merc, because he is an Apprentice and the Apprentice-Status makes you appearently not PVP ready since you dont know your fellow guildmates?

    2. Attacking a castle is way too easy, it doesnt matter what kind of guild is defending it, if multiple guilds attack a region with a War-Hero Zerg the castle owner will have 20 minutes of conten tops.
On the other hand the difficulty of defending a castle increased in the last year or two -> Gates are too weak + Gate Spawn basically guarantees the win. In most of the cases the defending guild will always be outnumbered since they cant stack mercs or stack militia like they used to 1-2 years ago. So they cant have a number advantage and with the changes to gates, they dont get any advantage at all. Since the castles themselves are useless outside of certain chokepoints which get overrun by a proper zerg in no time

    3. The devs also say that the Merc-System is not only for weak players or weaker guilds. Sadly this isn't the case. This system paired with the Apprentice-System "killed" any strong guilds in EU. There simply can't be a strong or weak guild because there is no measurement for strength anymore. Is your guild strong when their original 560gs avg members stack their guild up with 650gs avg players in order to zerg the castle owner and demolish any other guild on the region? Or is your guild strong because they managed to fend off the zerg for roughly 25 minutes before they got overrun?
I think the addition of those systems is just to make castle payouts and region buffs more accesable to the most casual players because they have been crying since the addition of them how broken they are 2-3 years ago.

    4. There is actually no incentive to do any sieges/nw at all.
You get locked out of content, the payout is ****, you will never defend your region anyway so you might as well go afk until you do a NW again. Which in return will only give you an overall netloss because the buffs you use are more expensive then what you would get for getting a node.
At that point you might as well stop pvping at all. :)

PS: bring back medkits and lower the respawn timers overall, nobody want to sit and look at his deathscreen for over 45 seconds

I would like a confirmation form the dev that investing in a worker node do absolutely nothing

    thx

then if it REALY do nothing

    here is my suggestion

make it so it increase the yield 0.2% per lvl

until then I would like a refund on all the energy I already invested in those node because of speculation and bad communication from your part

The answer is legit Striker or Mystic. Striker legit has elements of Hung Ga. And elements of Tiger, Snake, Monkey and Crane.

they don't dodge it, they don't have a fix for it. If you can't pay for the gas in a ferrari, then don't buy a ferrari...

    ********! ********! ********! ********!
    1. When do i get a male version for dark elf?! (also how about some classic orcs and dwarfs)
    2. When can i use my awakening greatsword on all skills, as i can do it now for succesion?! you clearly debalanced stuff now with succesion as i can use 1 wep for all skills and not swap weps all day greatsword to sword shield and oposite as i have to on awakening mode.
    3. Why you add so many female classes? are you that pervert and greedy?
    4. Does this game has a future anymore? or it will be a second hand game now that they announced a new main game?
