Just imagine a cave / tomb / lair with an entrance and an exit and like a labyrinth divided into many sections and level. While the first team passe (clears) a certain section (so it is free and available for next team), next team will be able to enter it. Like the queue in any amusing park.

hm there actually 21 who don't want Dungeon's???
    36 that want Dungeon's.
    and rest voted for Trump.

    • Dungeons's would much better then those Dark Cron stone Rift we have now for sure.
    • The Season servers showed that players really can do platoons and parties, so why not something a like with the dungeon's.
    • Guild Dungeon's could be a new thing with Guild quest, imagine a whole guild have a quest to discover riddles, new area's, fight mobs, super mobs and bosses deep down below.
    • Dungeon's is like a thing in every MMO.
I would love to see this, where it could be a guild as well as player quest etc.

As opposed to instanced dungeons (which I honestly wouldn't mind anyway), what would be better would just be to add more group content for bosses. The way you fight the Incarnation of Corruption is super cool, the guild bosses' mechanics aren't unfun either, but their loot is absolute trash. There should just be better implementation of group bosses, and make them worthwhile.

All i know is i would love to see more dungeons, crypts, lairs, sewers, really anything with some exploitative atmosphere added to the game; perhaps one day PA will figure out a way to inject some type of dungeon mechanic that has some traditional mmorpg sensibilities.

It would be interesting to see. :)

Except the op is new. Apart from the fact it has been asked before WHY CANT SOMEONE ASK AGAIN? If you don't ask you will never get.

If you want dungeons, go play a game that has dungeons. World of Warcraft is good for this I think.

Why? If the game already offers pve there really is no reason not to improve it.

Why do you say Dungeons will improve BDO? Dungeons require groups, BDO is the best SOLO MMO out there, does not need dungeons. It's not that type of game, so why make it something it is not.

Whats wrong with some light grouping? If its just based around dps it will not be a big deal just make some open world dungeons that keeps it populated so people will not get overwhelmed with mobs.

First they need to have better group content then work to dungeons. Also would like better GvG stuff to.....

For rather see more open world style dungeons then instance ones. As pointed out dungeons would be a bit of work since it was never built directly into the main game and most likely will feel like an add-on more then anything.

Nobody here is talking about instanced stuff ...
dungeons, caves, lairs, tombs, etc. can also exist as an open world free go in and out ... just go inside with your group, wait for your call, pass the gate, complete first stage, move on to next level / stage and make room for the next group waiting in the queue. Like in every amusing park. 100 people can not enter the labyrinth at once.

As soon as you talk about instances people throw a tantrum and cry cause yeah, BDO open world blah blah, go play WoW, yadda yadda... They can't figure out a simple way to have some fun group content, they just panic and run away. Their mind is pretty closed and focused on the classical way a dungeon is DESIGNED. It's the devs' fault too I guess cause yeah, not even they can figure out how to make a dungeon that isn't instanced, cause instances aren't OK in an open world blah blah game etc.

    Boring as hell.

You do have a point as someone who has played and watch mmos evolve since the 90s I see this allot and your absolutely right, however the issue is there are not enough good sandbox open world type of mmos, most mmorpgs are linear and people a bitter because they think wow started the instanced thing but in reality they introduced it in everquest 1 a while before wow ever had it, personally it did not bother me as it offered good open world and instanced dungeons, I did not even really notice, but sadly mmos go to one extreme or the other. I think it is reasonable to expect open world dungeons in bdo though since the game technically is open world and we just want a better pve experience. There is one advantage instances have which is the ability to change how skills work in only that instance which could be very beneficial for bdo.

Besides the fact, that you all mix up "dungeon" and "instance" all the time without obviously (and sadly) seeing any difference...
besides the case that there are some dungeons already placed into this very game for a very long time...
you all failed to notice, that with the latest patch we all got the great opportunity to build up our beloved holy trinity for the seamless and great content to face fearless brutal crabs in a shape of an adorable Papu or even more important an occiputless Otterthingy.

From now on there are no excuses anymore!

It is simple to add non-instanced dungeon in a open world: Because 100 player can't enter a dungeon at once and it is meant to play in a group where each player randomly gets additional tasks / job to get out of the dungeon in team work of course, a queue system like in amusing parks are the solution. Divide the dungeon into many parts / stages. Each is blocked by e.g. a gate. After first group passes / clears first stage and move on to next stage / room / chamber, the next group in queue can pass the gate to first stage. So next group does not wave to wait until the first group completes the whole dungeon. That how it works e.g. in real world in amusing parks.
