I finally got all the stuff together in the port storage but it looks like it takes 3220 jobs and each job is 2.5 hours? With three workers that would take over 2000 hours to complete! I have done the 20 jobs on the designs and am starting the 800 jobs for the timber squares but it seems like this can not possible be correct. All the videos show people getting the designs or where to grind the wood, I can not find any that actually show the construction part.
I keep seeing people say there are less than 1500 jobs to do but I'm not seeing anything like that.

That's correct, crafting a sailboat takes a big amount of time. Usually people parrallelize the jobs by hiring like 10 workers or more in order to reduce the time required.

It is 3320 tasks to make an Epheria sailboat. It does however sound like you have your workers very far away from the place where your Shipyard is if it takes that long per task.

When I did my boat in Port Epheria I had like 20 workers working on it. Majority were blue goblins that I hired just for making the boat and I sacked them once I was done. Port Epheria has plenty of lodging availible.

you need 25 designs to build it, wich takes 25 days, you can start its contruction even before getting them so if you already have all the designs you should have started building it sooner?

Thanks for the confirmation. I might just abandon the project. 3320 tasks is just way too many. Even if I hire 50 workers all at the port that would still be 66 times I would have to assign them to work, just for a boat... Even my human worker lodging in the port takes 2.5 hours per task. If I set timers and didnt waste any time between jobs, hired 50 workers and used 16 hours of waking time, it would still take me over 6 days of none stop task setting every 2.5 hours. I'm not looking for a second job :(

Alternatively, you can save silver and buy a sailboat at the market or turn in Shakatu seals for a ship.

Upgrading the Bartali boat is way more expensive though, as you need 100 hard pillars, which you don't need when building the boat yourself.

Idk how you came to the conclusion that you would need to reset them every 2.5 hours.

you could put 10 works on each construction task; steel, plywood, square timbers .. And maybe have to feed and reset them once a day.

you know you can set them to do several task in a row you don’t have to click start for every cycle? That’s why workers have stamina.

Costs about ~ 90m to build a boat btw.

put pre-orders in for standard timber squares.

Takes 20 days to get the designs. You CAN build a boat every 20 days.

You can either buy the registration for the ship at the market place for $515,000,000 or use 30 Shakatu seals to get it.

If you arnt spending IRL cash to achieve something..In PA's eyes you are doing it wrong. Like going into a casino and expecting to win without gambling.
You could do all that or play as intended..open your wallet, and supply the costume marketplace.

Which is more valuable..$70 or 20 days? They designed the inconvenience to be inconvenient for a reason.

If you have the mats it’s definite not and it strongly depends what you r missing and therefore what you have to buy from the market. The license for upgrading is 100 mill though.

Just buy the boat with Shakatu Seals... you only need 30 of them now.

Thats how I got mine, and then upgraded it to the Improved version in less then a day, buying the upgrade mats cheap off the marketplace...

even if you bought only the hard pillars that is already 350 mill + 100 mill from the permit, and that goes without considering the money spent in enhancing and repairing the bartali gear pieces to +10, no matter how you see it is more profitable to sell w/e mats you have and just buy it

Highly subjective as you know. People make their own judgement call there. Sadly the other person does not understand this simple fact.

That's subjectice, as MoonDance17 said, but IMO they are best spent on those things that you can't get through regular gameplay otherwise. For me that's the +100 Valks.
