Another node war another tower defense simulation, where Varshen was like that extra choromosome that appears every 5 waves in any tower defense game and Paradigma were just the regular bodythrowing peons, swarming into our base every few minutes/seconds.
We dropped out after 35 minutes of that clownfiesta.
Pilgrim's Sanctum Fast (T1 Occupied)
Hex (37), Pyrolyse (11), Heilig, OSEF, BlackTemplars, BaloneyBrothers
Immediately after the NW started we saw BlackTemplars near our fort, they had built very close to us and were pushing towards us. We fought them for a bit and then turned it around after we found the other forts, pushing towards BlackTemplars. We had alliance talks with Pyrolyse early on and they accepted and pushed BlackTemplars too.
Soon after the alliance was formed we had to start defending against OSEF, Heilig, and BaloneyBrothers at the same time. We asked BlackTemplars if they could help us out and so the 2 v 1 v 3 turned into a 3 v 3, with Pyrolyse pushing BaloneyBorthers (At least I think that's what happened), BlackTemplars pushing Heilig and us defending.
Once BaloneyBrothers was out and OSEF and Heilig were pressured by our allies we left the defense and pushed Heilig together with BlackTemplars. Heilig was pretty strong but couldn't hold against us and abandoned fort after we pushed them for quite a while. We then sieged OSEF's fort with all three guilds and took them out pretty fast.
At this point I think BlackTemplars pushed Pyrolyses fort, we went for a quick repair&repot and started attacking BlackTemplars fort. We managed to get a lot of structures before BlackTemplars full force came back to defend, to be fair they probably came back too late because it just turned into us pushing and wiping them over and over again since they didn't have any defensive structures left. When BlackTemplars went down Pyrolyse gave us a bit to repair&repot again. Our GM snuck into Pyrolyses fort and as soon as they started attacking us we went for a CTG and Chop.
Without Pyrolyse and BlackTemplars we couldn't have held the combined pushes off the other 3 guilds so big thanks to them for allying.
As always hats off to all participants was fun for us.
Pilgrim's Sanctum: Fast (T1)
Pyrolyse (11), Heilig (~10), BaloneyBrothers(~20), BlackTemplars (~30), Hex (~35), OSEF (~20)
After scouting and randomly attacking some bases while politics happened in the background, we came up with a 3vs3. Hex, BlackTemplars and Pyrolyse vs OSEF, Heilig and Baloney Brothers. We went for BaloneyBrothers, who received a little help from OSEF, while i have no idea what the orther guilds did. After a while Heilig went down, BaloneyBrothers fell soon after.
The 3vs3 turned into a 3vs1 at the OSEF base. Shortly before OSEF fell, BlackTemplars backstabbed us and appeared in our base, while also asking Hex to 2vs1 us after OSEF is out. Hex declined, so we cleared our base from BlackTemplar and 2vs1 them instead.
Unfortunately Hex declined our 5vs5 for the node suggestion, so we fought it out. We started at their base whith our zerg (if u want to call 7 people a zerg), while their main force gathered in front of our base. Shortly after we got axed out.
We ran around fighting at different fronts that war. Main reason we went after Orca so quickly if because last time we fought them they were salty in general chat. Makes the decision quite easy. After that we went for Inside, who we couldn't take out without help from Bliss. We then took out both Sparda and SovPolice who were working together. After that we broke our NAP with the remaining guilds (Bliss and Paradigma) and went after the stronger of the two (Paradigma). when they went down we had 4 minutes to kill Bliss (or vice versa) which neither of us managed.
War was quite fun for us, GG to all participants, the poor server performance being the one negative tonight
How many were you guys? I dont even wanna ask Paradigma cause they brought the whole operation SovAirlines on Epheria Valley.
Epheria Valley (T1)
Bliss(33) vs Orca vs Paradigma vs Varshen vs SovPolice vs Inside vs Sparda
We came to the regular node and saw a few familiar guilds. Contacted Varshen for temporary NAP beforehand which they accepted. We had about a blink and a piss before the ape hordes of Paradigma and Inside were outside our base. They took every form of bonobo, from the mountain species to the grassland ones - apes everywhere. Shrieking and causing a giant ruckus they stormed into our base in search for bananas, yet we held strong and regained order in our base. The two ape tribes managed to destroy all our annexes and brought our fort down to as low as 30% but we held strong against the bodythrowing olympics. They kept doing this for a while until Varshen informed us that Inside base was on low health, so we sent our flank group to prevent repairs. Shortly afterwards Varshen ended Inside. Already half a victory one hour into the war!
With this increase in momentum we decided to get aggressive and push towards Paradigma to show them that we are indeed the coolest monkeys in the jungle. They had however a huge amount of PA-bonobos that kept spamming and pushed us back to our base. Meanwhile Varshen was crusading against SovPolice and Sparda, feelsbadman for the both of them. The Paradigma bonobo tribe attempted to destroy our base yet again both by charging uphill and climbing the mountains, at every turn they were denied. We 2v1'd them with Varshen because they had huge numbers and afterwards we had a fight with Varshen that we lost, we respawned and CTG'd to their base but a perfectly placed flametower prevented any axing.
Lynch Ranch (T1)
FinalEnemy (43) - Kuolema (~27) - Megumin (~50) - RetirementHome (10) - some Snipe
Since Kuolemas base was just a stonethrow over the mountains, we decided to push them first.
With our first push we managed to get their Hwacha down and put some damage on the buildings till they could wipe us.
During our second attempt we had Megumin on our base so we had to put some more defense up to handle the situation.
Long story short, we got sandwiched from both guilds and defended till arround 9.40 pm.
In between wiping 2 elephant, 3 flags, lots of players, getting Kuolemas structures and tower down to bout 50% but with high
spawn timers and supply depot missing plus the amount of players putting up pressure all the time we went down in the end.
Megumin then got the node shortly after, not sure if they fought it out.
GG and thx for some nice fights to all participating guilds.

Watchtower - T1
Triggered (28) - Kuraidesu - Yokai - Schattenlegion(45~50) - Magma (Snipe) - Solaire - Iscariot
So the T2 scene continues to be pretty dead and our optional sunday node wars are constantly throwing up the best fights at the moment.
Everyone basically went for Schattenlegion at the start, although I think they only had about 50 today - between us and Kuraidesu assaulting them they got roasted. It was probably a bit unfair really that the whole node went for them, but that's what reputation gets you I guess.
After Schatten were out, We went straight for Kuraidesu since we recognised them to be the next strongest guild on the node. We agreed to an alliance with Solaire, since they worked with us last week and were right next to us. Kuraidesu teamed up with Yokai, and the other guilds didn't really have the numbers to make any impact on the node. Iscariot was far to the south and didn't really have the manpower to get properly stuck in anywhere, and Magma was basically just a snipe tower.
We traded back and forth with Kuraidesu until Yokai attacked our base and we pulled back to defend. We also tried to repel a couple of attacks on Solaires base over the course of the nodewar, but ultimately they went down to Kuraidesu while we were attacking Yokai, as due to some communication issues we couldn't get back to them in time to defend.
After that we basically just turtled vs Kura/Yokai. We didn't really have the numbers to split and attack since they both had around 20 guys so it took everything we had to just stay in the game.
They were very close to taking us out but we got a few solid wipes on them in the last 10 minutes of the node war and it was game over.
Sunday T1 scene delivers again though.

T2 Western Gateway
Prismatic (47) - Coldforged (40?) - StandBy (45?) - Unpredictable (40?) - Snipe
Starting close to Olvia Coast, we scouted Coldforged next to Western Gateway, Unpredictable up on Karanda Mountain and StandBy just next to the Termian Cliff Mountain cancerspot.
As we did not have any premade alliances we stayed at our base for the start, which turned out to be a good idea as Unpredictable and StandBy turned up. After wiping both of their attacks, Coldforged asked us for a NAP, since Standby and Unpredictable seemed to have one.
From that point on Coldforged went for Unpredictable, while we defended against StandBy who used the Olvia Hill safezone to regroup and send smaller flanking groups towards us. With respawn timers getting higher we went into offense, leaving an additional group at our base to defend against flankers.
Our engages at StandBy went pretty well, as we were able to keep the pressure up most of the time, only getting fully wiped 2-3 times. After around 45 minutes we took down StandBy with a pretty clean last engage.
Talking to Coldforged we decided to repair and help them with Unpredictable, when we got there and got ourselves ready for a push, Coldforged had already finished Unpredictable.
Regrouping at our base, we moved out towards Coldforged. At their base we had quite a few back and forth fights, a couple misplays as they caught us off guard, ultimately resulting in us gaining control and destroying most of their buildings and putting their base at around 40%.
After regrouping, we realized Coldforged used TP or their guildship to quickly spawn at our base, leading to one of the famous axe-races which we won because we had already damaged their base.
Personally I think it was one of the best fights we had in quite some time, getting a lot of practice for our secondary shotcaller who did a great job today.
Shoutouts to Coldforged for not joining in on the 3v1 and making it a pretty good 2v2.

I'd like to inform you guys, that I'm gonna stop filling in my "Node War results" spreadsheet after 26th May.
If any of you have a wish to create same kind of list and fill it in by yourself, I can add your link in 1st post and in my spreadsheet.
Besides I'd like to thank you all for posting your reports since 3rd July 2016 and keep this (and old one) thread alive!

CF POV. We scouted Prismatic, StandBy and Unpredictable quite fast and started looking at what we are dealing with.
At first we planned to see if we could have a 1on1 vs Standby as we thought that would create the best 1on1 in the end for us.
However, Standby had already agreed to a NAP with Unpredictable which they were very honest with from the start (kudos Standby for the honesty) so instead of joining them and creating a 3v1 we decided to stick with the 1v1 + 1v1 thought and contacted Prismatic even though we all know they are stronger than us.
After that we went to Unpredictable's base and started sieging them. We had the upper hand but respawn timers made progress slow. After getting the elephant out pushing became easier and we started getting structures down.
In the mean while Unpredictable had sent a party to our fort and causing some disturbance so we first sent a full party back to help with the defense but soon changed that so that only I and one in my group went home to defend together with the defense.
Some very DP based stealthers caused some annoyance and they managed to get a structure down here and there but we could replace them over time.
After aprox 50min Unpredictable went down and our 1v1 against Prismatic started.
Prismatic went on the offensive directly and started sieging us. It was clear that they had the upper hand against us and the shotcaller called for a CtG play instead of doing a drawn out defense.
CtG was 10-15s later than he wanted and our fort was to low already so Prismatic axed our fort down while theirs were around 60-65%.
Overall we had a really good evening and it was nice to see 4 guilds with similiar numbers and overall gear! Well defended by Unpredictable and Prismatic was as strong as we expected.
Personal shoutout to our Wizards and witches today for some awesome mid-combat healing!
