Now since this bug also hasnt been fixed for WEEKS I figured I'd make a bug report on this one too.

    https://i.gyazo.com/eb27c3fea6566936c3ac076862d789b9.mp4

What you see in this vid is a mild version of how it actually looks ingame due to the framerate of the vid being lower thus not capturing the flickering to the same degree. The trees flciker several times per second and at an uneaven pace making it extremely harsh on the eyes.

This bug happens on ALL TREES in the game. I have given up Kamasylvia completely simply due to the amount of trees there making it unbearable.

Bug confirmed by other ppl in my guild so its not on my end.

This has also been reported by other players, yet we are uncertain how this is reproduced. Could you let me know what GPU you are using, as well as the driver version you are using? It would also be worth checking if performing a clean driver reinstall using DDU helps the situation.

    GTX1080 newest driver.

Tree shaking appears about 30% of the gametime. If i ride over karanda moumtains it feels like an xtc trip. Its extremely annoying

Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
    Driver version: 23.21.13.9124

For me it still happens when standing still and not moving the camera although after standing still for a while it usually stops.

1080 Ti here. The tree jittering bug is most noticeable in Trent and Goat Mountain. It makes gathering at theses places unbearable to me. This starts with remastered mode.

So I've dared venture back to Kamasylvia as I havent had any tree flicker while being afk in Heidel/Velia the last weeks. So far so good, havent had the trees go ape-**** yet and been playing long hours the last 2 days so perhaps this issue has been resolved?

    Any1 else still experiencing problems?

EDIT: NOPE! Eye-cancer trees strikes again! Bug very much still here.

Same problem here since archer release, same GPU and same drivers I used before the bug appears so it is NOT a problem of GPU/drivers, blame Pearl Abysmal not Nvidia/AMD

I fixed this by un-checking "auto frame optimization" under "display quality" settings menu.
It seems to occur after the client has been running for many hours and it seems to occur mostly near hills, rocks and walls.
I think it's a clipping issue of some sort.

Anyways, try un-checking the auto frame optimization setting and see if it goes away. No reboot or relog necessary, at least not for me

Okay so I've done some testing on the flickering bug today and this is the results.

    • Texture quality low/medium/high: no difference
    • Anti-aliazing on/off: no difference
    • SSAO on/off: no difference
    • Display filter on/off: no difference
    • Faraway objects on/off: no difference
    • Depth of field on/off: no difference
    • Faraway NPCs on/off: no difference
    • Hit effect on/off: no difference
    • Reduce snow buildup on/off: no difference
    • Show blood splatter on/off: no difference
    • Show blood on/off: no difference
    Auto frame optimization:
    • on, 60fps: no difference
    • on, 30fps: no difference
    • on, 0fps: no difference
    • off: no difference
    • Remove others effects on/off: no difference
    • Remove faraway effects on/off: no difference
    • Upscale on/off: no difference
    • Low-power option on/off: no difference
    Graphics:
    • Very high: flickering
    • High: flickering
    • Slightly high: flickering
    • Medium: flickering
    • Low: no flickering
    • Very low: no flickering
    • Lowest/optimal: no flickering

Changing between medium and low has a very large effect on the overall look of the tress. They become much more static on low so in conclusion something that is hidden in this "graphics" setting is what is causing the problem.

On another note, isnt it about time the severe stuttering this game suffers from is addressed? Everything on lowest 140+ fps in fullscreen-windowed and the game still stutters VERY badly. In true full screen and 200+ fps the stuttering seems to be completely gone from what I can see but since alt-tabbing breaks the games resolution in true-fullscreen it isnt possible to play on this mode regularily. With higher settings the stuttering is there even in true-fullscreen.

This issue is identical to the one Diablo 3 suffered from the first months of its release for ppl with AMD graphic cards (im using Nvidia currently but 2 previous computers Ive ran BDO on also had the stuttering and those were AMD builds). The characteristics of the stuttering in BDO is identical aswell. It can be described as an even, steadfast stutter. If you set a metronome to the stuttering they will keep staying on the beat so its to concistent to be loading stutter or something of that nature.

I quit playing Diablo 3 because of this after the 1st playthrough but making a brief comeback to the game about a year later I noticed the stuttering issues had been fixed. Maybe try asking Blizzard how they solved it? lol.

Anyway since I tabbed in true-fullscreen mode the game broke and I was forced to restart thus I cant make any more testing on the flickering bug today as restarting the game fixes it temporarily. Its not like your tech-team isnt getting this served on a silver plate anyway.

Exact the same at my PC,
    Low/Very Low = no flickering
Everything higher -> flickering like hell
What i did since the Problem started:
    Clean install latest NVidia Driver
    Clean install Black Desert
Only thing that actually worked are Low/Very Low graphic settings.
My PC: 9700k/MSI Z390/GTX 1080, everything latest Drivers
    Monitor: 24" LG GM79G
