    Sad panda. I was hoping we'd get a little bit of a better PVP situation for the Shai. Our dramatically reduced damage is an issue. Sure, being hard to kill is nice, and at the highest gear levels we have a chance to wear down our opponent, but the majority of the time we're just free kills and grind spot placeholders for when basically any other class in similar gear shows up and decides they want it.

    Before they release the real pvp damage of each skill so that we can compare the pvp damage of each skill with the utility of each skill and this table, what they released today is just a piece of shi*t.

    Why they do not want to release the pvp damage of each skill? Hint: when a new class is released, I can release the damage ratio of class against class for the new class, and makes it look "reasonable" while secretly adjusting the pvp damage of important skills for this class to be crazy.

    I'm just going to give the benefit of the doubt here and hope that "power ratios" are not the only things being considered here and that more changes are in the works too...like taking mechanics into effect instead of just damage/power. That would be extremely short sighted if that is not being considered/worked on...and not the way lingering super armor was handled with Valkryie (compensation indefinitely postponed and never spoken of again). Its common knowledge that especially awakened guardian gets absolutely destroyed by iframe grab classes. Its also obvious that guardian speed/mobility issues make approaching rangers/archers problematic. Its fine and even expected to balance damage, but don't forget to deal with the mechanics that damage and damage reduction was attempting to and inappropriately compensating for. Specifically talking about being locked in extended animation times and lacking in adequate cancels.

    Community balancing = reworks outdated classes gameplay.

    PA balancing = damage % yoyo.

    From what i see guardians will still deal damage but boy oh boy they gonna take it too now.

    This alone does not fix anything. This is like when you call your cell phone company because there is no service...and they just give you a $5 credit and don't fix the service outage.

    Finally skill window has been redone. Only took some years, the current one is a cluttered mess and it seems im the only one happy about that, the rest of you are bickering over pvp damage.

    OK explain to me why lahn gotten her damage reduced vs most classes while almost all classes gotten their ratios increase vs her? Nice going making a class useless in one fell swoop.

    Now see how many classes gotten their damage vs lahn increased and see how many classes lahn gotten her damage increased for, they gutted her

    ^this. somes gameplay should be changed, and not just tweak damage.


    Not fan of the "skill window" beeing full screen tho, aside from that, would need to see that in action, i dont really get how its organized tho

    And they still kept that cooldown windows instead of also using the very handy drag and drop on quick slot.... *rolleyes*
    Better set an annoying menu compare to something very nice to use right... kek.

    Why do deal different classes, deal different dmg to different classes. What is this game lol. The balancing game could be so much easier, but this is just freaking stupid. Imagine they would add 10 more classes, with 20 more skills each. The number of things to balance would raise into millions of millions possible fails. Not even MOBAS are doing that this way and they have much much much more characters xD

    Pretty much all these devs know are power creeps and lazy macro number balances by using the shotgun approach. Par for the course since 2018.

    she got indeed pretty rekt with that pvp "balance"

    but i still dont quite understand how thoses ratio affect the damage tho, is that simple % ? or is there a more complexe formula behind that ?

    Because if she has overall damage reduced by 5% but skill damage increase by 3% to 8%, do that mean in the end she only has a 2% damage reduction on somes skills and a 3% increase on somes others ?

    Or do the overall 5% damage reduction also consider the 3 to 8% skill damage increase ?

    Most of those changes were already effective on the test server, most of the changes listed are a recap. of what they did.
