You can buy 15 of them in a Pearl Shop:

For only 1000 Pearls. But you have to be quick, before December 4 deadline.

    k. But you fill on L4+ first or?
What are your % of reduction?(from bartering lifeskill)
Because from what it looks, with ~30% you can barter more than 100 times which is more than before(though seacoin trades cost now more...)
So it's a system that improves itself. More routes(barteramount) and more barters itself(due reduction) = increase in possibility.
Skilled sounds like 5k or even more than 10k barter?

The change to the 10M suck big. -.-

i for my part was at 2005 barters pre-patch where we got the xp and after recieve the xp i got up to apprentice 8
since then i started bartering with another char because i wanted to see how the % actually change over time and so far the list looks like this
Apprenctice 2 was after receiving a 1k xp item and apprentice 8 after recieving the 2nd one (as well as the xp for the 5 leftover barters)
skilled 4 was a guild mates rank as of today

    upload_2019-12-1_20-27-37.png

that they are now far out in amrgoria? yh^^ that's why ignore them as of now...way to lazy to sail out there and it also costs me too much time

For a break down of my current parley costs
    Valuepack is -10%
    Skilled 1 bartering is -11.74%
All level 1 to level 4 trades cost 11,182 per trade.

    level 4's for 5's cost me 11,182 per trade (x4) x8 Total= 357,824
    level 4's to 5 (10 mill) is 22,364 per trade (x3) x1 Total= 67,092
Sea coins vary from 11,182-33,546 x9 Total= 147,602 (my current reset value) It varies but this seems to be in the ballpark.

Total= 572,518 Parley for 4's to 5's and sea coins and 44 trades per reset.

This leaves 427,482 (or 38.2 trades) Parley for me to get mats and restock, for a total of 82.2 trades per reset. This is less than before the change for me. With using the Crow's Trade Voucher one can add another 22.3 trades per reset. Allowing me @my current values, to do 104.5 trades per reset.

Hope that helps and answers your questions.

    Edited for bad maths

k so your numbers indicate the gap for hardcore/more into bartering than before.

But at some point you will overcome this gap and slowly getting more barters out per cycle than before. When it cost you less than 10k parley you would get more out of it. But that seem to be far way... 20k barters maybe???

    Probably more tbh.
I'm thinking around Master 1 Bartering. And as slow as this levels that's going to be a lot of accumilated. Going from Apprentice 1 to Skilled 1 was -38 parley per trade.
I'm about to hit Skilled 2 so I can see if this trend continues.

Is Bartering even good silver income per hour? Can somebody put it in quick sentence if its worth doing it at all. Like does the investing into boat, wasting time to go into ocean pays off?

    also @Xeniph
to get below 10k you'd need Guru2 regarding the overview on bdocodex that someone has shown to me in another thread

    upload_2019-12-3_1-45-24.png

    upload_2019-12-3_1-41-23.png

it's the kinda the same as with gear upgrades & grinding...so kinda a long term thing...e.g. if you have crap gear and can only grind stuff like nagas efficiently you get nearly no silver returns...if you take your time and get to the level & gear that you can normally grind aakman / hystria you have a compared high silver income.

with bartering it is kinda the same...the more you invest regarding time and mats (for better boats & equip) the easier it will be later to get your money as you unlock more traderoutes with higher barter count.
as you can see in the screenhots below this what the game offers me right now with ~2500 barters (varies a bit each cycle)
    - there are 8 sea coin trades = can be done once per cycle if you wanted to buy stuff in the sea coin shop, but also costs you 1x 5M item each time (i for myself only do sea coin trades in Hakoven island if they offer me 300+ coins which equals only one "lost" 5M trade item...the range there goes from 1 coin up to ~600 coins)
    - there are also 8 Level 4 to Level 5 trades = can be done 3 or 4 times each depending on worth of the item (1000 LT each)
(3 Trades = 10M per Item = out on Margoria // 4 Trades = 5M per Item = some island around Illya Island or around Kuit / Epheria)

if you e.g. ignore the margoria trades and only do those on the islands than you'd get 4x7x5M = 140M
depending on your ship and amount & weight of sailors this can take a while
e.g. with let's say 1k LT gone because of sailors you'd have
epheria sailboat = ~5k-1k = 4k LT for bartering which would be 4 Items = 1 island delivered per run = 7 runs (not mentioning gear as it brings nearly no LT benefit)
    caravel with green caravel equip +10 (1,5k LT) = 10k + 1,5k -1k LT = 10,5k LT for bartering = 2,5 islands delivered per run = 3 runs
    caravel with blue +10 Equip (5k LT) = 10k+5+-1k = 14k LT for bartering = 3,5 islands delivered per run = 2 runs

as you can see, the better your ship + equip, the less runs you need which equals less time consumed to deliver the stuff (regarding the fact that at some other point you collected some mats beforehand)

Carracks (for Trade) have a base weight of 15k or 16,5k LT without equip...but no clue how much LT those add on +10 so i leave those out for now

This table is terrifying. Guru2+VP to do 100 base barters?!
That's indeed a hardcore nerf not just a gap. o.o
Not even counting for higher parley barters....

Yea, it seemed to be stopping at the Master level, and beyond that it go very slow.

Now we don't have Mastery yet for Bartering - So there could be some extra Parley% reduction there too.

With 10 Routes, I currently get an average of 1400 sea coins within a single 4 hr cycle. It takes me around 2 hours to do all the sea coin trades and a minimal amount of bartering to replenish barter items.

My results could be a bit skewed since I spent a lot of time in the first couple weeks and over Thanksgiving building up my supply of barter materials therefore reducing the amount of work I need to do now.

It's definitely slow in the beginning when you're starting out with a sailboat cause of the 5k weight limit and also having limited routes means you won't get as much sea coins. You'll also likely need to spend more time building up your barter item supply so you have items on hand for all the barters you want to do.

So you get about 1400 coins/ per 4 hours, how much silver is that? I mean what is the average silver/hour is what I'm interested in. Or if it is like trading crates or whatever what is silver per week?

So to turn sea coins into silver, you use em to buy sea coin coupons to exchange for Manos Accessories to then sell on mp.

    Manos Necklace = 125x sea coin coupons = 1250 sea coins = ~200mil
    Manos Earring = 131x sea coin coupons = 1310 sea coins = ~204mil
    Manos Ring = 120x sea coin coupons = 1200 sea coins = ~199mil
    Manos Belt = 125x sea coin coupons = 1250 sea coins = ~207mil
(Using current MP values not accounting for tax)

So basically every 4 hour cycle you get ~200mil before tax by doing around 2 hours worth of actual bartering. You can get more buy selling the 10m and 5m Level 5 bartering items but that would require you to do more bartering.

And like I mentioned before it will take time initially to build up a good supply of barter items in order to reach the gains I'm currently getting. So in the beginning you'll be looking at way more work for way less sea coins.

hmmm I guess its not bad if you are into Bartering and already have everything set up. For me, I guess I'll just grind for a couple of hours a day, seems like more profit and less work.

You can get barter exp from the barters you did before the introduction of the barter lifeskill?
