So recently my GPU usage is going between 90-99%.. what is happening?
This is only in Black Desert.
GPU is suppose to be utilized 100% during gaming.. lol
If its not 100% you have a problem.
Oh really? Y i'm not that of a technical guy, i was kinda worried lol.
Some games might not be graphic heavy thats why you might see it being utilized less, but ideally 100% means your GPU is doing its job
Makes sense i guess haha.
Thanks for clarifying that dude!
From experience it depends what resolution you're playing and depending on the scenario on the game.(Some games straight up don't use all the gpu %)Usually Higher resolution pushes the gpu more but not always at 100% unless it's a benchmark. Also it's bdo.I usually get around 50-80 gpu usage while grinding at 1440p and 90+ at grana just cutting logs. The only time I had a constant 100% gpu usage in any game is when I'm using some benchmark or when the fps is hitting 144fps constantly. Most of the time gpu usage is around 50-100% in every game I play.
My 2080Ti is 100% utilized in remastered 4k at about ~80+ FPS
Well...4k.There's your answer xD
XD No it doesn't matter what res you still have all cores on the gpu in use for BDO.
I run in 2k Downsampled to 1080p (66Hz) as my monitor is old.
You could play around with low power and gfx options but then why bother if you want it to look pretty?
I can run a benchmark 99-100% gpu usage. Not bdo tho.The game is a mess. The connection, cities, ppl and skill effects all cause errattic gpu usage behaviour.I run at 1440p 144hz with 1080ti.The only way I could get 100%gpu usage is to play 4k because of how ridiculously demanding is on the gpu.
In your case it could be many factors on why you have 100% gpu usage.Probably the limited hz with high settings.(you have constant 100% right? im understanding you right?)
If your GPU is at 100% usage, it is quite normal.
The main thing to look out for are to ensure that it is not running at too hot of a temperature while at a high % usage.
Appreciate the answer!
What is the temperature you GPU running at? I'm just curious.
