Details: The game provides a way to save up to two presets for its settings. So, you can make changes to the settings and save them as "Custom Save 1" and make another set of changes to the settings and save them as "Custom Save 2," allowing you to switch between them or to restore whatever your preferred settings are when starting a new character.

However, for some reason, in spite of the fact that the "Interface Settings" are part of the settings dialogue and show the buttons for saving the settings in the bottom left, saving and restoring either "Custom Save 1" or "Custom Save 2" has no effect on anything in the "Interface Settings" (which include the key bindings). This means that any time you make a change to the key bindings, you have to manually change them for every character. It also means that whenever you create a new character, you have to set up the bindings yet again instead of restoring them with "Custom Save 1" or "Custom Save 2" like the rest of the settings.

This is incredibly annoying to anyone who does not use the standard key bindings, and I'm reporting it as a bug rather than a suggestion, because the buttons for saving to "Custom Save 1" and "Custom Save 2" are clearly visible when you're changing the "Interface Settings," which implies that they're supposed to save the "Interface Settings" along with all of the rest, and either the buttons to save the "Custom Save"s aren't working properly, or the buttons to restore them aren't working properly.

    Reproduction Steps:

    1. Press ESC and select the gear icon at the top of the Edit Menu to open up the Settings dialogue.
    2. Select any of the sections on the left so that the settings on the right show something different from the initial dialogue.
    3. Press the #1 save button in the bottom left corner to save the current settings.
    4. Make a change in the settings outside of the "Interface Settings" (e.g. whether your pets are visible or the display quality settings).
    5. Go into "Interface Settings" and change one or more of the key bindings (e.g. bind "Move Forward" to the V key).
    6. Press the #2 save button in the bottom left corner to save the current settings.
    7. Press the house icon in the top left corner of the dialogue to return to the initial screen of the dialogue.
    8. Select "Custom Save 1" on the right.
    9. The settings will now return to the initial settings that you had when you saved "Custom Save 1". Whatever settings you changed outside of the "Interface Settings" should now be restored to what they were (e.g. whether your pets are visible or the display quality settings). However, if you go to the "Interface Settings," you will see that your key bindings did not change. They're whatever they were when you changed them and saved "Custom Save 2."
    10. If you then select "Custom Save 2," then the settings outside of "Interface Settings" will be restored to what they were when you saved "Custom Save 2." However, the key bindings will continue to stay exactly what they were without being affected by restoring either "Custom Save 1" or "Custom Save 2." The only way that the game provides to change the "Interface Settings" is to do it manually.

Alternatively, after saving your custom settings (including changes to the "Interface Settings"), you can go start a new character, and you'll find that when you attempt to restore either "Custom Save 1" or "Custom Save 2," any settings from the "Interface Settings" will not take effect, forcing you to manually apply all of the key bindings again every time that you create a new character.
