Your logic is flawed. 10x T2 is the minimum. T2 is guranteed to have. But T3+...(while there are ways to get 100% a T4 it's still costly).
10 pets have first the double of lootrate(that would need to be factored in else T5 would be way worse) AND are better with their specific skills AND get double the benefit of additional skills. So or so 10(T4) would be way superior than T5 pets.
You can not add something like that after people spend hundreds or even thousands on getting 5 T4.
problem with 10 pets is that bad spots will get way way better since they always had the issue of leaving loot behind
the 6 pets or small aoe sounds really good tho
I think two more pets out would do the job.
There’s also another thing to consider- the t2 pets are no different to t1 pets so maybe rescale the pets to make t2 slightly better than t1 which means t3 slightly better and same for t4 Problem solved
They have already done this anyway to low level areas
And it just means u get less drops so less chance at those expensive accessories drops
Also maybe a more challenging or fun way would be to have to beat a few quests which involves killing mobs and bosses With reward of being able to have another pet out. Maybe two new quest lines for this so max two more pets out. Getting a pet in the reward too maybe pushing it
The limitation of your pets looting is also a sort of balancing to the classes that do not clear/move so fast. It also gets people moving to higher end spots.
Or asking for more grind spots that are not relying on mass slaughter is not so bad, you know?
A kind of area where mobs would be really harder to kill, but more rewarding, promoting team play...
But no, players themselves are now asking for more reasons to pay. Impressive...

The Op has 5X t3's T4's are a big leap over t3's. I do not need more pets I sort of regret my t4's as I moved to harder content and no longer need them. I know other classes want them because they are top tier clear speed on lower end content.
In group content like mirumok they are even needed less.
He wants 10 pets because you could get away with t1 or t2 pets if you had 10 saving him money.
And instead of asking for more reasons to pay, I suggest we should all ask for more challenge, harder and more rewarding mobs, tougher monsters to promote teamplay and put an end to this brainless slaughter, made in solo most of the time which is sad for a Mmorpg.
I think ten pets in an area with mobs would create more lag and maybe lower your fps.
I like how OP never misses an opportunity to call Pearl Abyss incompetent but isn't competent enough to figure out that since Kama release we got areas perfectly suited for players with low looting capacity like Manshaums, Ronaros, Sherekan etc.
T4s and T3s here abd theyre too slow for manshaums
Then you might overgear the area and might want to try Aakman.
Youre right m8, alrdy passed aakman too and went sycraia, and pets are our last thing to worry about down there...
We dont need more pets, if the logic behind is to increase drop/silver then they should increase mob aggro up to 15 or 20, however that would further distance the gap between the unbalanced grind classes
remove the mob agro cap
Dream pets (tier 5)
1.5 sec loot
base ability +1%
etc etc etc....
No more tiers of pets. Give pets ingame aoe loot effect. That would be ideal
That would essentially make them required. Just adding a pet or two is just fine rather than making op t4 powers.
