NA Vel1 tried various nodes now and results are that there is a network issue some where... ATT Fiber here everything else I do is fine, its just BDO. would you please feed your hamsters please and keep the FNG network admins out of the server room
I'm having the same problem with lag... sometimes it'll be just fine and I can play without hiccup, others the lag gets anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. I also have ATT Fiber, which has no problems outside of BDO. Generally when I encounter the terrible lag it persist on all servers in NA region.
I think I am on Vel 5 with same crippling lag .. took me 2 mins just to get on my mount ... I WAS going to play my witch but casting is bad enough without lag.. can we say "please kill the witch"
I can't connect to any channel. Can't dry fish. Can't talk to NPC. Can't even bring up the game exit menu. Can't change channels.
Bump... This is still a real problem when you can't exit out of the ****ing game. Especially when you want to character swap to some gear work.
wierd. I just blazed through heidel on my T8 on vel 1, and then 5.. didnt even hiccup or pause briefly.
wish it was the ISP but its not since it only started with this latest patch... I am not the only one experiencing it.
As requested, individual players may still experience network congestion depending upon the linkage from their ISP to the servers ISP via routing. It is encouraged to submit a support ticket with pertinent information regarding you connection during the time of the incident so the staff may investigate the source of the issue.
Yeah this is helpful they'll tell you to flush your DNS, switch to Google DNS, try vpns and then explain that your shitty connection is working as intended. Basically song and dance while they hope the issue resolves itself. Kakao tech support is a waste of time.
I did not say submit a ticket asking for assistance, but instead submitting a.ticket to report the occurrence. If you request assistance, they will attempt to help you with what basic troubleshooting methods they have readily available. If you state that you are reporting the incident so that the data can be added to their collection, they will do just that. The results of the ticket depend on the submission. If you are knowledgeable already in basic troubleshooting then you don't.need assistance, however you should still report occurrences so they can be documented and traced internally.
And nothing done about them... If they had any interest in creating a stable network their NA servers wouldn't still be sitting in CA. At this point I think they only changed ISPs because level 3 gave them a better deal.
That's actually what did occur . We didn't move data centers. As CM Kabz noted, the physical location of the server did not move. As far as "caring"...that's an opinionated matter I won't play with in either direction. We as players can only do what we can do, or nothing at all.
