The test servers were meant for us to test the actual updates they do. My problem here is how they have it set up. For starters, you should receive every character in the game at level 60 and each one gets that soft cap armor/weapons/accessories. Also should be given every single crystal along with the tools to take them out so they don't break. Then to test the caphras they should have give you 1,000's to test it on along with the same thing with enchanting materials. If you want the community to truly test your updates you might want to start doing this. And if you haven't read, PA has decided to stop translating all the test server notes into English. Mind you they call this a GLOBAL test server. If you don't want the feedback why even give us this server? It's very apparent they don't know what they're doing again.

By not spending time translating , they can allocate more resources to other endeavors, where they are more needed. Since they are focusing heavily on the new storyline revamp, their localization team probably needs the manpower.

so its not that big of a deal personally considering the benefits of more attention where it is really needed.

in all honesty, test servers have a tendency to detach people from the real game, because many things don't function the same in a live environment.

That's a pretty bad excuse. You're telling me that they cant have one person translate updates and notes? It's not like it takes an entire day per update to translate.

depends on how many people on the team can read and write English fluently enough to perform localization work, Korean is a beast of a language to localize to English, and its not all just direct translations either....you have to completely rebuild entire meanings in some cases

Yes I know, I'm korean myself. But there are plenty of koreans who can speak and write in English. PA shouldn't have much trouble finding a localization member imo given how much $$$ they've got. Hell they could even hire someone from invenglobal, anywhere really. Unless they give a valid excuse for stopping English translations, this is just them being lazy is what most of us will think.

So rude.. really rude. wow. the world not perfect man. No need to be self-centered and thinking that a full game can be complete in 2 days. There has not been ONE game that done it better or worse then the dev team. Every game has their problems, its not as easy as it looks. a lot of things can go wrong with coding and scripting. one tiny misspelling or one wrong number and the whole game can collapses on itself. Let the devs breath and don't pressure them. they will get to it eventually, but like the Ambassador said. it takes man power and a smack loads of real life time. plus these guys are racing against the clock and trying to push out the latest patch... they gonna make a few mistakes or leave some stuff out, but it gets fix or looked into 8 out of 10 times.

Please reread what we were discussing. We're only talking about TRANSLATION OF THE PATCH NOTES FOR TEST SERVER. There is no coding involved when TRANSLATING KOREAN TO ENGLISH. Before rudely butting into a conversation READ first. No one said about completing a game in 2 days.

Cant tell if being sarcastic but.. dude lol what would they be translating from to Korean? Of course the notes are going to be in Korean first. This is a Korean mmo. Also alot does not equal majority.
