You are completely missing the point. Example, 1,000 people knew about melting accessories they buy 10 a day - 1,000 people actively buying witch's and seals at an already inflated price. (Which is still increasing). 10,000 Accessories less on the market place, people start putting there accessories up more expensive anyway because they will sell just need to wait. Public Knowledge; 50,000 people start buying accessories to melt, even if they just buy 1, Automatically 50,000 people buy accessories, just 1. + The original people that was doing it. Price inflates, markets crash. It was fine with having people know about it, but not making a big announcement out of it, just ruins it for everyone rather than the few. Few examples below; - Like when the elites at gahaz was not really know to drop Seraps. 2-3 people could make a hell of a lot of money in an hour then someone posts it on reddit. Everyone tries to farm them, crashes it and just becomes a mess because too many people doing it, nobody profits and then Kakao nerf it. - Farming used to be amazingly good, with 10 large farms every full "fix" session of the 10 farms would produce 1-5 sharps and 1-5 hards. Would take about 10 minutes, the people that did it profited yes but so did the marketplace you would see a constant influx of shards and hards going into the marketplace before someone decided to make a guide out of it (not to help the community but to farm forum likes). Kakao got made aware and again nerfed farming. - Gatekeepers were for the longest time one of the best kept secrets, constantly putting Seraps and Crystals into special deals at a decreased price. Until it got made public knowledge lots of groups started doing it and now nobody can do it efficiently. Like honestly, people need to be a little bit more selfish and it will benefit the entire community as a whole.
