@RevoSend What are you using to play BDO?

    Teamspeak?
    G-Sync monitor?
    Other software / overlays?

NVIDIA Color Settings fixed the issues for me - YCBCr422 limited:

    upload_2018-7-25_5-54-33.png

Also the original poster seems to have a SLI setup. Find the executable in the game folder (not the launcher one) and make a profile for it. Set SLI to Force alternate frame rendering 2

There are some differences with my system though

    CPU : Ryzen 1800x 3.6GHZ - 4.1GHZ (XFR)
GPU : 2x GTX 1070 SLI (reference cards

I have exactly same problem (since april 2018) like in video in first post in this thread, but only when my pets pick up items. Stutters occurs only when i kill monsters and when command "Fetch" is enabled. I tested this long time ago, and ofcourse already reported with short video.

Whoah!!! Praise the lord. This is at least part of the issue for me. Game gets quite a bit smoother when I disable my pets.. though I do still get the consistent small periodic stutter every 10 seconds.. all other stutters instantly dissapear.

@GM Kaioken Please send this to the devs so they can fix it.

Realised fps is blurry. Major stutters at:

    00:03, 00:09, 00:18, 00:29, 00:36, 00:46

    00:53 i disable pets...

So I get screen tearing with a Gync Monitor (100hz) now.. I don't know what I did exactly but I disabled SLI completely and a few other things like Gync and V sync to test what that would do to Black Desert.. I was getting insane Freezing every 10 seconds for a period of 4-5 seconds and after turning G sync back on I have screen tearing for about 2 weeks now. I even tried capping my frames to 98 fps with RTTS and 75 fps no changes. I then tried Gync with Fast V Sync, Normal V Sync doesn't seem to be as bad hardly notice screen tearing but it feels like i'm stuttering a lot more. I'm sorry for dragging this issue out and I have sent in another ticket I just need a

Edit: I sent in a ticket explaining this and said I would try to reproduce it but I couldn't (freezing problem)

Stuttering & now screen tearing FeelsGoodMan :)

Is it worth contacting Nvidia for assistance on G-sync? Maybe the drivers need tweaks for BDO.
Also did you manage to try a HDMI cable 2.0b spec to your monitor, this will disable G-Sync.

Yeah it's probably worth contacting Nvidia but for now I just enabled Fast Sync as swapping to hdmi did not help

I opened another ticket showing my DxDiag Logs and Black Desert Log Folder. We'll see what happens I guess

The technical team seem to not know how to help me so I will continue this post until my issue is resolved

It's strange because even on an overwatch forum post they show there DxDiag Logs and it mentions BlackDesert64.exe at the bottom aswell.. (Diagnostics) https://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20762006541 In fact many DxDiag Diagnostic reports show similar reports..

Just wondering if you have the memory in the correct slots?
    rmaplacement.jpg

    For 1 module C1
    For 2 modules A1 + C1

Do both the GFX cards run at x16 speeds,?
    Nvidia control panel >System information.

For trying in non SLi mode, your cards are connected with an SLi bridge, the LED EVGA logo.
You can try with this unplugged, just pulls out. (with the PC off and carefully so you dont disturb your GPU water blocks)

I am having same issue. Opening the map. Running farming But my game stops for a whole second sometimes. And if i have the air conditioning on which is connected on same socket it completely freezes my pc and shurs down. Nothing helps so far no drivers went back 4 versions and still clean gane install. Might be issue with the driver and perhaps something to do with the power it consumes.

I am having this issue too for quite a bit.
What I have figured out is this:
The stuttering always begins after I open my inventory once. To fix this i have to change servers, and it will work still i open my inventory again.
Can some of the affected people try this out and report boack?

Yes they run at x16 speeds and yes RAM is in the correct slots

I was hoping the remaster would help but it seems to be worst in some cases

This is something which used to help but since newer drivers the option got removed. (Nvidia inspector required, set to single display mode)
    https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvidia-inspector-download.html

    singledisplaymode.jpg

Have you always been using the same connector on the back of the GFX cards? (tried other display ports on 2nd card?)
Another possibility, the G-sync monitor is faulty?

Nvidia latest driver 398.82 still mentions G-sync issues.
    • [G-SYNC]: Windowed G-Sync mode may stutter after upgrading to Windows 10 Spring Creators Update. [2097340]
    • [Euro Truck Simulator 2][DirectX NVCamera]: Performance drop occurs after enabling Freestyle for the game. [200435356]
    • [Netflix Edge Browser]: When playing a game in full-screen mode and playing a video from the Netflix Edge Browser, blue-screen crash occurs after multiple [Alt+Tab] switching between the two. [200415750]The issue does not occur when playing the Netflix video in a Chrome browser.
    • [Firefox]: Cursor shows brief corruption when hovering on certain links in Firefox. [2107201]
    • Windowed G-Sync mode may stutter after upgrading to Windows 10 Spring Creators Update. [2097340]
    • Random DPC watchdog violation errors occur when using multiple GPUs on motherboards with PLX chips. [2079538]
    • Using power monitoring in GPU monitor tools causes micro stutter. [2110289/2049879]

Further information - check for details on fullscreen/windowed mode/borderless
    https://www.pcgamer.com/nvidia-releases-a-hotfix-gpu-driver-to-fix-stuttering-and-stability-issues/

Did you try full screen mode borderless? (another issue with later drivers, these modes restrict fps to monitor's Hz, might help with Gsync)
Something has to make it better.

I changed my Nvidia Inspector Settings to Single Display Mode, didn't really seem to help.
I do get the occasional Blue screen crash when using netflix actually when using Microsoft Edge Funny enough.
And lastly is it normal for the Main menu of BDO when you first launch the game to stutter? It shows Start, Settings & Quit and the video is like a slideshow..

I have been using the 398.98 as I read it helped some people out but no changes here + the new driver released yesterday.. Version 399 something or other, didn't help either.

But after testing on my mates standard 60hz monitor without G sync the main menu wasn't really stuttering and in game seemed pretty decent with the occasional TINY stutter (Or maybe I am just seeing things cos i'm so used to it) I also silly enough forgot that my Monitor could be overclocked to 100hz from 60hz.. I will disable the overclock and try again with and without G sync
