    ... seems like quite slim picking if these where the "winning/best/most liked" ideas... seriously nothing else had more importance or attraction than these.... yer just no...

    I do appreciate the devs actually telling us what THEY want to do and are doing with these updates (i assume that's what we are doing here)...

    and seriously witch/wiz fix when? especially witch... why can't we just be long ranged cc/bursters again? i mean fgs the new archer got insanely long and consistent range so clearly this is an option (feels so bad to be out-ranged so hard, have so little movability and get exploded so fast when caught; but hey we can heal and hide ;) )

    Just to clarify a point, the winning ideas are what the devs selected as ideas they liked and may be possible (they'll look into them).

    Also, we have been tracking many ideas that have been implemented that are in the index that weren't necessarily communicated....which is fine, that's part of what we Librarians do OwO.

    We actually have a pretty sizeable list of things coming that are related to things wanted that we are preparing to discuss in July's Library Messages, and some wrap-ups are planned towards the end of the year to go over the previous years journey.


    Tldr, although not everything may be showcased in fireworks so to speak, there have been many, and I do mean many, implementations of things players have asked for, for quite some time....even the Shai class and donkey costumes are the results of player input...and Guild Officers getting to use guild skills...and just....

    Oof lol we'll have to wait for the wrapup xD
    Oh did you hear about the Dolphin pet? No? Oops.... >.> *equips disguise and poofs away*

    would be nce if it showed a Miss whenever you missed a hit.. like when you crit and do back and down attack... if you guys dont want to show numbers like when we do damage on live server atleast adding that miss would be nice..

    Currently in Castle Sieges (mediah, calpheon, and valencia) If you are not a castle holder everyone on the map is blue color other than the castle holder. Enemies are not red as in nodewars and serendia/balenos. Is this intended and if not, can it be fixed?

    Firstly, my apologies that not all favorable ideas may get communicated in advance. The River of Production is a fast flowing body of water that is sometimes too quick to keep up with, and while some ideas may not get pre-announced, it does not mean the idea was not heard. The Librarians assist in this case by reviewing patch notes, and keeping apprised of upcoming changes from multiple public sources in order to provide acknowledgement updates via Status Codes in our Main Index of the Library, and we will continue to provide updates on those status changes here (in batch)



    The following indices within the Library for which were voted on, have been remarked from "Unknown" to the following status:

    • BD0119 ★★★★ Acknowledged Current Content Other Pearl Inventory needs to be increased beyond 192 slots
    • BD0131 ★★★★★ Superseded New Content Guild System create a "Vice GM" position within the Guild System. A "Vice GM" would have all the same abilities as the Guild Master, except "disband" guild. (Superseded, as Officers can now use guild skills, and other changes are also planned)

    • BD0443 Implemented Current Content Progression Make the experience reduction needed to reach Guru1 Sailing, Farming, Training, and Hunting - retroactive so that players that have already worked hard to achieve levels are not devalued.
    • BD0444 Implemented New Content Other Create a "Hot Air Balloon" that players can ride in
    • BD0445 Implemented Current Content Monster Update the Monster Zone "Waragon Nest" in Valencia to be more consistent with other monster zones
    • BD0446 Implemented Current Content Monster Reduce the weight of loot obtained from Margoria Sea Beasts

    • BD0543 Implemented Quality of Life PvP Make it so that fall damage is mitigated when jumping down the entrance in Red Battlefield
    • BD0588 Implemented Quality of Life Client UI Provide a separate method for dismounting from a horse in lieu of the "NPC Interaction While Mounted" update as players are not able to dismount if they are next to an NPC or interactable object.
    • BD0587 Implemented Cash Shop Mounts Make it so the Horse Flute works with Donkeys in lieu of the new Donkey content.

    The fatal flaw in this system is, if an idea doesn't get the exposure it needs when first suggested, it gets buried, then it kills every other similar idea to follow it, naming them duplicates of failed ideas. You have ideas that literally dozens of people continue to ask for but your system is calibrated to eliminate them on contact.

    Your system doesn't foster new ideas. It kills original thought.
    Whose bright idea was this thing any way?

    - Release lifeskill mastery and the manos collection.

    If you need to balance it out after release just as every other aspect of the game has been then so be it.

    Those last two winning ideas will be the most useless features when expedition patch comes. The ocean content will be so worthless that will become just a huge wasted space in the game world that to be honest no one would notice if it gets deleted altogether. The huge boats will become just novelties to look at the bay because they will have no actual use.

    Why is that you may be wondering?

    Winds and Currents are the worst environmental changes ever because they heavily restrict movement which was previously unrestricted becoming more an annoyance than an asset alongside that is the costly refuel of the ships power (rations in expedition) being 7mil at lowest to refill the power bar, then add cannonball cost that will get the whole replenishing cost up to 30 or more millions per trip on a sailboat a frigate will be far more costly and then for the cherry on the cake all the sea mobs loot will be as worthy as that of grass beetles 1-2 coins or 20-200k silvers a kill. a kill wich would consume resources equal to 5million at least.

    The upcoming patch is advertised as the age of the ocean but in fact will destroy the drive of most sailors to even grab a ship and sail around.

    You're joking, right? You have @Andaro compiling lists that never get seen or summarily dismissed by PA.
    Our ideas are nothing close to precious.

    CMs typically talk at us, not to us. PA is like a ghost. We never hear from them, unless it's a KR event we get translated or a world-wide event, which is again is a press release or lecture rather than Q&A discussion.

    Imagine if a lot of people go framing and a lot of trees are simply missing in the world.
    Would not look good.

    And to change the colour it will not look good either anymore.
    I do not see any issue with the state of the farming process itself.


    Ahhh and you played the full update already...yes?
    Just wondering.

    But in the end it is not new that all new content presupposes to heavily invest money to be more efficient in the end (in the looooong end)
    This is the core of the game and all mechanics are build on this one.

    And you know what, that is exactly the reason why most of the players will play the game even longer because they would like to get to this status. Maybe not you or others here but the big majority will do and enjoy.

    Life Skill and Big Ocean updates will get us content for the next year to max it out.
    Why do you think (in an MMO) that a change or new content will be presented to you on a silver plate.

    I do not think that this is motivating. And certainly maybe you do not have the benefit right from the start but in the end you will gain more profit over time than before. It was and will always be like that.

    And you are totally forgetting about new adventures. Those guys will experience the game on a different level compare to us.
    Green and Blue life skill equipment is essential to get new adventures to try out the stuff without impossible investments referring to the mastery.

    yeah, imo they should just use the runescape way of woodcutting, once a tree is cut down just leave a stump there, would increase immersion and realism too

    Dude what are you even talking about? Do you even realise what you just replied doesn't make sense at all nor addresses to the issues listed in my post? but just for the sake of arguing i'll reply to your asseverations:

    No amount of ingame silver investment nor even RL money will make you able to sail headwind or vs the current an issue that has plagued Kr free boards about players just avoiding sailing at all due it being overly stressful to reach anywhere by sailing. So as it stands now its just a broken mechanic that not even the developers on their stream were able to beat, the current and headwind just stopped them from completing the full barter chain.

    I do bet a great deal of players will enoy wasting alot of time trying to beat the counterflow or headwind when trying to reach any island compared to now that you can sail anywhere from any direction with no restrictions whatsoever

    Life skill masteries do not play a role in the expedition, do you even know how the materials for Tier2 & Tier3 boats are obtained or are you just assuming you will just grab an axe and get all the wood?

    This proves you dont even know the situation of the Expedition Ocean and the current Live server ocean, the loot from sea mobs was reduced by 95% at least, unless in the future sailing mastery do boost the loot from sea mobs by like 300% not even grinding with the T3 boat will obtain silvers compared to nowdays wich will turn it into a huge waste of time to even bother getting said ship.

    This also proves your lack of information if you do really believe the ocean expedition will just open the doors to new adventurers and be welcoming, the overall costs to even sail and the ship unkeep will bankrupt most players. The upcoming changes to the ocean and ships is not an upgrade but rather a downgrade unlike the life masteries, the concept was awesome but the execution was very poorly.

    Dunno if this would be correct here and dunno if it has been posted before but it is also more of a bug:

    If you play with a resolution scale (UI) above 110% then the action bar vanishes completely and you also do not see items listed at traders (regular and emperial). For now, to fix this, you need to manually change the UI Scaling to any random size, can be just 1% different and everything will be displayed properly again. This is very annoying, since I need to do this every single time I log into the game. If you play around with the scaling you can see that, the higher the scaling is, the action bar and items from the trade window get just moved out of bounds.

    Would be nice if this could be fixed. Thank you very much.

    PS: I wonder why this has not been reported yet. Is anyone playing on Full HD monitors still? Surely in 4k scaling would be mandatory.
