Staff Response New Routing?

    Did you change something with your Routing with todays Patch?

    I cant interact with any NPCs, as soon as I click "R" I cant do anything but walk around until I disconnect. A quick Google Search told me that routing/a disconnect is the Issue.

    Ive never had that Issue before todays Patch. Restarted my Router, restarted PC, no Problems anywhere else but in Black Desert.

    SO not only I got this new Ugly UI but now I also need to use a Program like WTFast ?

    Edit: The Problem only occurs after switching Characters. The first Character I login with has no Problems, but after switching the aforementioned Problems occur. Did never happen before todays Patch, not even once.

    Hey there! I'm sorry to hear that you're having connection errors. In this case, I'd recommend Flushing your DNS, as this will help to improve the connectivity between you and Black Desert Online.

    After the flush dns won't work try this

    If this also don't work get network logs with this tool and send them a ticket with the info

    I have similar problems.
    Changing Chars to Boss Alts takes a few minutes until i can attack the boss.
    Several other people have lags since a few weeks especially since primetime

    At the moment they don't care and suggest me to buy a VPN. Maybe when we are enough to complain the will really investigate

    I think they have shares in a lot of vpn companies. Otherwise they would work harder to try to get better routing for their customers through the providers instead of suggesting you spend money on a vpn.

    Tried all of that, even got myself Wtfast - still no improvement at all, so I guess in my case its not because of the routing.
    Stll it only started happening after the 8th Oct. Patch for me.

    So when VPN dont help it is not an issue with the peering of Telekom and Leaseweb. Seems to be a bigger issue.

    I tried 10 Minutes at Polly, because when i got Lags there im safe but it is unplayable. I'm lifeskilling all day. Soo boring

    Please fix this

    Same issue, tried those thing and didnt work out. Started the same patch date as everyone elses.

    Gave up fishing already since it is impossible, processing, alch and imperial turn ins are driving me nuts. Cant step away for 5 mins or imperial turn in timer resets.

    God damn stressful.

    Try mudfish if you have an issue with connection. If mudfish will help you than its definietaly something with new routing

    WTFast and Pingzapper do not help, pretty sure the same thing will be the case with Mudfish, which does exactly the same.

    Edit: It definitely is server Related.
    Without even disconnecting since yesterday everything is fine now, but as soon as too many Players come online the Problems will appear again.

    October 8th they probably silently shut down some Servers...

    When I do I trace route them the last few hops at leaseweb are really slow.
    If this affected all and not Telekom user only it could be that leaseweb has a problem or they pay leaseweb less then before for worse connection or less server

    exacty same problem here, almost all my guild mate have same problem all arround the UE so its not isp releted...
    ..we tryed almost everthing in suggest ticket and nothing, they just dont know how to fix this, point...
    yeah tryed even vpn cyberghost, doesnt halped.. no point to spend farther time on this...
    we just give up and waiting them to fix this one day...

    thanks u for all ur suggest Riptyre, but I do all ther procedure 20+ time a day, exactly the moment after I got dc...
    ..to be honest with you, we are all tired about this situation, why don't you just guys dont flush your Servers, instad of make us do something that doesn't help at all..
    I never seen so much problematic game, where the usere need to fix by they own everithing... this situation is awefull..

    look like you lose connection right after your router, you have no response and then high ping all over the place.

    As you can see , it reaches the last node (which is bdo) but with very high ping. I think you should talk to internet provider. 217.237.147.45 (2nd node) is Deutsche Telecom AG

    Yes the ping is not so nice on the Telekom gateway, but what is worser then the not so perfect ping is the 8-10% Package Lost, depending on which time i start the report.

    I will open a ticket at telekom but i'm pretty sure, that the biggest issue is the package los, not the slower ping

    Doesnt work....
    Not sure when these problems startet for me... but its a few weeks now...
    I cant even grind with those delays and lags. Never had problems like this before.

    Already wrote a Ticket... and dont tell me to buy a VPN lol!...

    We're investigating these issues. Some players could use changing their DNS to 9.9.9.9 and using IPv4 instead of IPv6.

    And for those who had sent a ticket, please be patient! We'll get there asap ^_^

    Can't wait to see a solution. Today it is even worser
    3-5 seconds laggs, getting rubber banded to my old postition.
    Maybe because many people downloading the game and the whereever the chokepoint is, gets even worser
    15% package los is a new record.

    If you need any logs or so just tell me
    The DNS was suggested to me before in my ticket and didn't help
