Update their twitter account says restart steam they are applying a patch now to fix steam..
Correction I just did it and the patch did not work..
CoherentUI is still bugged. so hf for the ppl with win 7 ...

No but i have the same thing ... doesn't surprise me even the devs don't know which files they need to send at this stage, or comment out code for files not even included.
So updated with the 2nd patch and it is still freaking corrupt..WTF
nice the last "fixi fix fix" patch corrupted now the complete launcher and it wont open again....good job dudes....
I get what you guys are trying to do with the node war changes, but seriously why are all your "solutions" so god damn convoluted? If you want to cut down on zurge guilds and give smaller guilds a chance to node war just put a limit on the size of guild that can participate in different tiers of node wars. You didn't change the number of nodes available, but increased the amount of nodes a guild can have. The higher end guilds can now dominate even further if they plan right. The exact opposite of what you were aiming for. (also, god help the poor GM's and all the more responsibility they have to shoulder while officers remain with the same powers as when the first day the game came out)

That's not the real problem. Guilds who brought true "Zerg numbers" were never going to be active 6 days a week anyway.
Nearly all NW guilds all have "Off days" where they're lucky if even 1/3rd of their members show up
The problem is that this system caters exclusively to elitist 0.1% Renown-carried / payed to win / Tryhards at/above Softcap who don't even typically require more than 20-30 of themselves to win every node they drop on. And they don't even need the lousy silver that comes from it. They're just there to DUNK on everyone else who wasn't RNG carried or (did not have) $1000's of dollars to brute force it with cash shop assistance
..and here's the 2nd big problem that if Fixed: would alleviate most of the first problem:
...ARE NOT "IN-PLAY" or contestable to alleviate this new 6-day system. So now we have 3x as many "days" that the Tryhards can monopolize every node in the game but we still have the same lousy number of nodes in play that still gives next to nothing in Tax-benefits even when an underdog guild *does* manage to defy the odds and get one.
In short: NW's were already in a bad place Incentives wise, but now they may just not be worth *attempting* for 66% or more of the people who used to show up for them. Soo... instead of capping how many players can ATTEND them, they should have started capping Renown-Bonus score more and more per Guild's win (which wouldn't have required this stupid "you weren't picked for dodgeball" exclusion system we were given today)

because they dont want to hand them $$$$ of prizes to new players. thats why they lower it now just to get ingame not the COMP, GPU and other stuff. They want giving the prizes to people that really do play their game
