    Below you will find this week's Patch Notes: Highlight of this week’s game update is certainly the introduction of Savage Rift. Adventurers of all persuasions are called to challenge the dangers lurking in the Savage Rift. Summer is over as Fall is breezing in. Back to School event with tons of extra Pearls, free coupons and big sales starts now! The Lauren Family Coin Event is also back and many class balance changes made it into the patch.     • The game client will try reconnecting several times after being disconnected due to unexpected network error.
      • This feature will not function if the client is closed.
    • Fixed the chat type tag in German and French.
      • The language filter will now work properly.
      • Default setting is set at International.
    • Fixed the issue that shut down the client from time to time after starting a match in Arena of Arsha.

    • Fixed the issue where the ESC key did not work while using Marketplace Maid and Shop at the same time.

    • You can scroll within the maid panel even when you clicked on the scroll bar. The maid panel scroll will not be reset when changing regions.

    All Classes

    • The Stamina consumption of the following classes with the main weapon in combat and non-combat stance has been adjusted.
      • Warrior, Ranger, Sorceress, Berserker, Tamer, Musa, Maehwa, Valkyrie, Witch, Wizard, Kunoichi, Ninja

    • Relatively higher level of EP consumption for skills forced Rangers to use a lot of MP Potions. To solve this problem, we have updated the following skills:

    • Using the skill Breezy Blade will now recover 10EP per hit. (Not if it is used during cooldown)

    • Using the skill Elven Rage will now recover 15 MP(EP) per hit.

    • Using the skill Flow: Disillusion will now recover 20 MP(EP) per hit.

    • TheEP recovery amount of the skill Wailing Wind has been increased. (Not during cooldown)

    • Customized hair-styles now look more natural.

    • Fixed the issue where the image of underwear gloves are partially removed when both Stella Outfit and Queen Heart Underwear are equipped.
    [​IMG] Berserker
    • Berserkers have been experiencing problems in the early stages of gameplay due to low Accuracy and Damage while requiring high WP consumption. This makes it difficult for Berserkers to grind so we are applying the below adjustments to balance out this issue.

    • A new effect “Accuracy +13.5%” has been added to the skill Flow: Slugfest.

    • The Critical Hit Rate of the skill Seizing Fear has been increased from 5% to 10%, and a new effect “Accuracy +5%” has been added.
    • Damage of the skill Devastation has been increased. (Damage reduced in PvP.)

    • The duration of enemy’s movement/attack/casting speed decrease debuff from the skill Devastation has been increased from 5 sec. to 10 sec.

    • The WP consumption of the skill Lava Piercer I has been reduced from 25 to 15.

    • A line about Air Attack effect has been added to the description of the skill Raging Thunder.

    • The WP consumption of the skill Raging Thunder has been reduced.

    • The WP consumption of the skill Beastly Wind Slash has been reduced.

    • Bound effect has been added to the skill Frenzied Destroyer on both-hand down smash in PvE.

    • Damage of the skill Frenzied Destroyer has been increased.

    • Fixed the issue where the damage of the skill Frenzied Destroyer III was being applied to skills Frenzied Destroyer IV, V, and VI while mounted.

    • The WP consumption of the skill Fierce Strike has been reduced.

    • The Accuracy stat of the skill Fierce Strike has been adjusted.

    • Fixed the issue where changing Standby Expression in the customization screen was not being applied correctly on combat stance.
    [​IMG] Valkyrie
    • We have reduced certain skills’ stamina consumption and cooldown time, while also increasing the overall damage in PvE for better grind-efficiency. This was due to Valkyries requiring a large stamina consumption while having relatively small AoE attacks during grinding.
    • The Stamina consumption of the skill Promptness has been reduced to 100.

    • The cooldown time of the skill Promptness has been reduced to 5 sec.

    • Damage of the skill Promptness has been increased. (Damage reduced in PvP.)
      • 806% x2 → 1048% x2
    • The cooldown time of the skill Hastiludium has been reduced.

    • The cooldown time of the skills Blitz Stab and Ultimate: Blitz Stab has been reduced from 9 sec. to 8 sec.
    • The PvE damage of the skill Blitz Stab has been increased.
      • 567% x6 → 624% x6
    • The PvE damage of the skill Terra Sancta has been increased.
      • 1475% → 1696%
    • Removed the stamina consumption part from the skill description of Lucem Fluxum.
    • The PvE damage of the skill Hastiludium has been increased.
      • Dash Damage
        • I: 618% > 818%
        • II: 754% > 997%
        • III: 890% > 1178%
      • Stab Damage
        • I: 480% > 490%
        • II: 496% > 595%
        • III: 584% > 701%
    • The PvE damage of the skill Hastiludium has been increased.

    • Fixed the abnormal character motion caused by using Lava Field or Toxic Flood.
    [Only Wizard]
    • The skill Lava Field can now be used while moving.

    • Fixed the issue that caused the Wizard to stop sprinting when transitioning to the non-combat stance while sprinting on awakening combat stance.

    • The skill Lava Field can now be used through Quick Slot normally while the Wizard is standing still.
    [Only Witch]
    • Movement of Tett became more natural for all Flow skills.

    • Fixed the issue where the Witch would momentarily stop while using the skill Toxic Flood in motion, which was different from Wizard’s version.

    • Fixed the graphical glitch on the character’s hair after putting on Rakshande Helmet.

    • The stockings from Jasmine Garter Belt Underwear will not show through Acher Guard Shoes.

    • Fixed the issue where the actual increase rate of evasion was applied lower than what is stated in the skill description of Maneuver Training.
    • The following Crescent Blade skills’ cooldown time has been adjusted to make more Flow skills available as it wasn’t readily available before and forced users to repeat the same skills due to the long cooldown time.

    • Cooldown time of the skill Below the Belt has been decreased.

    • Cooldown time of the skill Fiery Crevice has been decreased, and frontal guard effect has been added.

    [​IMG] Maehwa
    • Fixed the issue where the actual increase rate of evasion was applied lower than what is stated in the skill description of Maneuver Training.
    • The skill Backward Chase now can be used right after using skill Blind Thrust.
    [​IMG] Ninja

    • The duration and sprint speed bonus of the skill Target Chase have been increased.

    • The line about immunity to attacks has been removed from the description of the skill Ninjutsu: Concealment.

    • Removed the incorrect text “completely immune to attacks” from the description of the skill Shadow Cloak.

    • Fixed the issue where a character with shaved head would get a different hairstyle during combat.
    • Fixed the decorations of Yurei Helmet that looked awkward when it was put on a shaved head.

    • The duration and sprint speed bonus of the skill Target Chase have been increased.

    • The line about immunity to attacks has been removed from the description of the skill Ninjutsu: Concealment.

    • Removed the incorrect text “completely immune to attacks” from the description of the skill Shadow Cloak.

    • The motion for the skill Wheel of Wrath has become quicker.

    • Connecting from Wheel of Wrath to Flow: Indignation has become a bit smoother.

    • The motion for the skill Sah Spree of Sonan has become quicker.

    • Connecting from Danse Macabre to other skills has become a bit smoother.
    [​IMG] Dark Knight
    • Dark Knight was the only class which can sustain a long duration of the Invincible state by chaining certain skills. With the long duration invincibility state in mind, our team determined after a lengthy analysis of internal testing data the following changes would be applied to the Dark Knight:
      • These changes will still allow Dark Knight players to enjoy almost the same style of gameplay during PvE, however, in PvP proper usage and timing for skills will be crucial to winning.
    • The stamina consumption for the skills Dusk and Chain: Dusk have been adjusted to 250.

    • The Invincible effect of the skill Smoky Haze has been changed to Super Armor.

    • Dusk and Chain: Dusk can now be used during cooldown time.
      • Invincible effect is not available if used during cooldown time, and 50 Stamina will be consumed.
      • In order to maximize the effect of these movement/evasion type skills that no longer include the invincibility effect (During Cooldown) after this update, players can now use the skills themselves even during cooldown.
    • Following skills will not have the Stamina recovery effect:
      • Twilight Dash, Spirit Hunt, Trap of Vedir, Shattering Darkness, Flow: Bombardment, Smoky Haze
    • Fixed the graphical glitch that caused the overlapping of [Dark Knight] Venia Riding Attire and the Vediant.
    [​IMG] Striker
    • Using the Flow: Mass Destruction will not cause collision while moving, and it can now be used during cooldown time.

    • Connecting from any Gauntlet and Gardbrace skills to Flash Step, Silent Step, and Flow: Mass Destruction has become a bit smoother.

    • Using the following skills under Martial Spirit state will incur MP(EP)/SP/WP decrease effect to target:
      • Ultimate Crush, Spiral Cannon, Flow: Crosswind, Fallout, Ferocious Assault.
    • Sustaining the Martial Spirit state now consumes 25 WP every 3 seconds instead of 50 WP.

    • Fixed the discrepancy between the actual Evasion bonus stat and the stated value of the skill Howling Wolf.

    • Putting on Dim Tree Spirit's Armor after dying Blazing Inferno Gloves should no longer interfere with showing the correct colors.

    • The size of the Marketplace registration batch for the following items has been increased:
      • Ingots, Crystals (mineral), Gemstones, Plywoods, Reform Stones, Supreme Hide/Fur/Feather, Bloods, Oils, some Food Items, Mount Recovery Items, Traveler's Map.
    • The 4 and 6-set effects of the Jarette’s Accessories have been changed to 3- and 5-set effects.

    • Fixed the issue where a character under Lv. 50 on a mount could be attacked by other characters.

    • Savage Rift is now open.
      • You can now join the new mode on the channels 2, 4, 5, 6 of each channel group.
    • Players will be granted 30 points upon starting the Savage Rift.
    • The time limit for the bosses from stages 5, 10, 15, and 20 of the Savage Rift has been adjusted to 5 minutes. The next stage will start if players fail to defeat the bosses within the time limit. If the boss is defeated, the next stage will start 30 seconds after that moment.
    • Now you can synthesize higher-grade WP/SP potions with lower-grade potions through Simple Alchemy.

    • Fixed the issue where character’s life level bonus for repair time was not being applied in repairing forts during Conquest/Node Wars.

    • Fixed the issue where it was impossible to build a Field HQ even with two Lv. 3 nodes.

    • The condition for using Field HQ has been changed.
      • Any guild that wishes to participate in the Conquest War of Calpheon, Mediah, and Valencia Territories can purchase and use the Field HQ.

    • When the target is moving, Ancient Kutum’s ranged attack will hit the initial target location instead of just following it.

    • Additional scarecrows have been placed in Velia, Heidel, Calpheon City, Altinova, and Valencia City. These scarecrows do not take damage from characters.

    • The quest type of the three chimney sweeping quests in Calpheon has been changed from Combat to Repeat.

    • Knowledge card images have been added for NPCs Finlin, Ekta, and Lucy Benkum.

    • If you press ESC with Storage, Mount Inventory, and Inventory windows open altogether, the Mount Inventory window will be closed first.
      • Press ESC again after closing the Mount Inventory window to close Storage and Inventory windows at the same time.
    • Right-clicking Cron Stone will open the Enhancement screen.

    • Fixed the issue where some letters were still visible after clearing the guild description then pressing Enter.

    • Fixed the issue where dragging to select the guild description text would let you also select the area outside the description window.

    • Fixed the issue where the buff description tooltip in the upper left corner would not disappear after removing the cursor off the icons.

    • Fixed the special action button in the Pearl Shop to work correctly.

    • A system message window will appear if a server change fails.

    • The “new” badge on the BDO TV icon now blinks.

    • Fixed the issue that changed the color of system message with a certain color when there was a line break.

    • Fixed the scroll glitch in the Pet List window that happened after clicking the Check In All button.

    • Fixed the scroll glitch that happened in the sell window of the shop after clicking Repurchase.

    • You can now drag and move the NPC information panel in the Conversation screen.

    • Fixed the issue that displayed the “Get All (Mount)” button at all times when obtaining items.

    • The cat inside the Kasula Farm’s well has been taken out of the well.

    • There should be no obstacle now on the route to Sebastian from the quest [Daily] Falasi Family’s Kindness.

    • Fixed the issue that prevented from talking to other NPCs after the NPC you were talking to signs off during talk.

    • Fixed the issue that abruptly prompted characters into swimming mode in Valencia’s Desert Fogan area.

    • Fixed the overlapping Terrminé Wagons graphical issue in Velia.

    • Character’s legs and the bench in a ferry boat will now look natural after applying Belle Epoque Ferry Set and boarding the character.

    So if i understand correctly, Savage rift is permanent, but the bonus rewards are part of timed event, right?

    (In that case it solves the availability somehow, after the hype ends)

    Not even sure where to start this week, only took you 2 hours to get the notes up.

    I submitted a ticket a long time ago asking why it takes you so long to release patch notes and the response that I got back was that you needed time to translate. I dont feel that there is an excuse for it this time. PA changes the patch cycle to biweekly and you still cannot get notes out before or at servers going up... How is this even possible at this point? Do you actually have anyone that can communicate with PA?. I've given up on the future of this game because your communication with us is completely non-existant.

    We are currently playing a game that has absolutely no PvE that isnt grinding and a PvP focused end-game that harshly punishes anyone who does it. What ever happened to that outlaw / bounty system that was meant to happen sometime? I'd enjoy that a lot more than some tower defense game that only 60 out of the tens and thousands of players can actually play at a time. (Savage Rift has now been added to more channels to allow 180 players.)

    Doesn't suprise me at all that you have lost 25% of your steam playerbase within the last month. Honestly guys, communicate with us a little more and I would probably be happier with the game but right now you're taking #1 for me as the worst MMO publishers I had dealt with.

    REMINDER THAT IF YOU ACTIVELY DEFEND THE CURRENT STATE OF THE GAME YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

    Another fortnight passes and we are spoonfed minimal content to compensate for the Steam players being ""far behind"" [which, according to Steam statistics, 25% of the Steam playerbase has quit in the last month alone]
    It's disappointing to hear that the patches are slowed to this fortnight system to ensure "better quality updates" -- because realistically, we're still getting grand mistakes like telling players they will receive item drop increase scrolls in the value pack, when in fact, we won't be. (As confirmed by a GM in a thread of mine earlier)

    Players continue to point out that lots of notes that are included, are in fact not implemented in our client / version, or are poorly translated to the extent that they mislead and misinform players of what they are receiving as "updates."

    This is not to also mention the other issues that the game is riddled with from the standpoint of bots running rampant since the launch of the game, however players are banned for verbal abuse of the lowest form on a daily basis. As well as other players being vilified for choosing to enjoy the content in another manner. (Playing perma red, for instance)

    I really did expect some genuine quality control from both the developers and publisher of the game, however myself and many other players can't help but feel ignored and mistreated for supporting the game since the very start. Disappointing.

    This has probably been asked a million times but I still haven't seen an official answer(not suprised), would it be hard to give us the patch notes while the maintenance is going on so we have something to talk about since we can't play.

    Sorry for not getting an answer guys, CMs are busy fighting the big red letters on the forum.
