    Hi,

I was very patient the last months. 1st Connection errors with different providers, Update Problems, always a workaround and no real solution. Ok, thought you need more time to fix it. But still nothing.

Then application errors the whole time. I can't count how often BDO crashes.
Go and fix the Problems and take the response from the community serious. You have a big Problem and need to solve it asap.

Here are some logs, which may help you: (BDO Bad module Info)

    2 Solutions for bad_module_info crash:

    1. Disable Windows 10 Game mode. I can't tell you how becuase i don't use win 10.
If it doesn't work or is not possible:
    2. Disable fullscreen optimisation. Go to your BlackDesert install folder and seach for the BlackDesert.exe in the bin subfolder. rightclick it and select Properties(Eigenschaften) and click on Compatibility and Check "Disable fullscreen optimisation". Repeat with the BlackDesert64.exe in the bin64 subfolder.

The problem here is Windows 10. It messes with your game data and this causes problems in many games, not only BDO. (just google bad_module_info)

1st of all, nice Picture. Nothing better then Doctor Who :-)
I changed the settings and saw that my Gamemode was disabled.

You find additional information for the Gamemode here:
    https://winaero.com/blog/enable-game-mode-windows-10/

I keep you informed. Thanks for the hint

bad_module_info error caused by the windows 10 fall update (1709). this problem exists with many games (eg. pubg or blade n soul) and not only in bdo.
So you should say: "Back to Microsoft. Go fix your issues."

There are still a few things you could do to get rid of the problem:
    - Uninstall the latest Windows update 1709 and get back to 1703 (suggested by many people)
    - Some people said you can ignore the error: when this error pops up, just hit your windows key without clicking anything in the error message, so your game is in the baground and tab back into the game.
    - set your virtual memory to a fixed value depending on your RAM.
    - some people just switchted back to Windows 8 or 7 because they are sick of all the problems windows 10 causes.

You can find many solutions if just google "bad_module_info" and you will also see that windows 10 is the problem and not bdo.

OK, back to Mickysoft. I actually have 1709 so that might be the reason.
Power is enough here as other games are running smoothly.

Nevertheless, thanks for taking this up and you help was appreciated here.

Lets wait for the next bigger update and hope Microsoft will fix it.

    Hi there.

As correctly pointed out by Megta, this is not a unique problem to BDO, but Windows itself.

I recommend trying to run a Windows System Scan. You can find instructions on how to do this, here.
