then we got 2 real problems.
Only need to "replace" last week payout+tax, dont start from 0 each week. It goes up to around 70-80% or about 175-200m in the case of 250m/hr guild funds
(not accounting for how its split between members, that is impossible to calculate with all the diffrent factors diffrent guilds take into account)
looking at the poll results, 136 seamonster hunters are making really good money.
For those that say they do NOT earn to much, are you willing to provide avg guild fund income per hour? Maybe payout numbers, with how many do SMH ofc?
each member can easily make 100-150mil an hr sea hunting with blue gear. The figure can go up much more if everyone in the guild does smh and meets an high quota of turning in 500mil worth of smh drops a week. ofc, this only applies in a guild with say 20bil base funds. If you've been smhing for months like UPS, you'll probably have like 60bil or even more and can easily earn 200/250m+ an hr because your returns increase the higher your base guild funds are.
FYI, the guild i'm in has a weekly quota of 250mil and T1 payout is ~120mil. T10 is ~1.3bil. Guild easily makes 10-15bil a week in guild funds from smh. 20bil guild funs and 30 guild members.
If you honestly think that silver from SMH right now is okay then I'm just going to assume that you are a pure SMH and are biased towards this subject (although most people SMH anyway because its by far the easiest and most ridiculous amount of silver you can earn in the game by a long shot). So people still can get 5b+ for T10 guild payout. 5b silvers in 1 week is by far the most silver you can earn in a week, thats 125 hrs of grinding a week at 40m/hr (theres 168 hrs total in a week). Now you can argue that SMH also requires money to get started and preparation but the counter argument is that a player who played since launch got lucky or spent $$$ has 270AP and is grinding hystria requires even more preparation and time but still can't make half of what braindead controller SMH can.
Here's the second problem, there are still countless hackers out there using speed hacks and other cheats to SMH, some of these cheaters will be selling their guild funds for real life money (not sure if this is bannable but PA/Kakao is a ****ing joke when it comes to banning IMO and monitoring these sorts of shady acts). Cheaters can make probably up to $500~$1000 a week (depending on the number of cheaters in the guild) by selling their guild payouts.
I'm all for SMH in this game, but I think the money from SMH is far too much in comparison to other money making methods. There are two ways to balance this, either buff the money making from grinding or nerf SMH. Nerfing SMH will be the easiest solution because if you buff the money from grinding to the ridiculous amount from SMH, there's going to be even more inflation than there already is causing pre-orders to be ridiculously overpriced. Nerfing SMH is just the easier method. Another reason not to increase money gain, game becomes rather too easy. Just put up a ridiculous pre-order for all your gear. 5b in 1 week will win you 2 tet boss armour or maybe some tet crescent rings. You can just buy 5000 cron stones to go for 5 pen attempts in 1 week with no repercussion. The money from SMH is retarded and it is destroying the game, its not the only factor killing this game (big part of it goes to PA) but its definitely facilitating the process of killing this game.
no calculation in the world can turn out in a way that members farm in average way less than they get payout. that works only if you're a leecher, new to that guild and all the other members are willing to farm at least 2-3x as much as you do, and you still get the same share.
at that amount, guilds have 10-15% tax, so that's lost, no way around it. means, the max you can get is 85-90% if what you farm. the silver doesn't magically multiply.
in other words: if there are 30 people, 60bil funds, and everyone would just farm 500mil per week (15bil total)
week 1: 75bil funds, 40% payout: 1bil each, left in bank 45bil, after tax: ~40bil
week 2: 65bil funds, 40% payout: 866mil each, left in bank: 39bil, after tax: ~35bil
week 3: 50bil funds, 40% payout: 666mil each, left in bank: 30bil, after tax: ~27bil
so after just 3 weeks those 60bil "base funds" are down to 27bil already. not sure that decent SMH guilds are going this route and allow slackers to suck their bank dry.
