RBF has been the same since game launch.
The idea is that since you are not willing to update it in any way, give the tools to players to do it themselves.

-Release all buildings and vegetation of bdo
-Create simple editor that allows placement of these objects in an area with predefined width and height.
-If it is not already instanced, instance it.

Allow players to submit their own creations.
Allow players to edit their creations according to player feedback and re-submit them.

Once done, create a month long event where all submissions will rotate and players will be able to vote on their favorite one and also provide feedback and changes needed on these terrains.
Rotate between the most voted 5-6 terrains.

There are tactical aspects that play a big role in pvp that the initial development team did not take into consideration.

    -Choke points
    -Terrain elevation
-Terrain that allows or prohibits enemies to flank you

In a later date add a ctf version of rbf where once you pick up the flag you get a debuff that reduces greatly movement speed and attack/casting speed, thus focusing more on teamwork that raw kills like the current version.

They care to a certain extent really. Once the player base drops then they will do something to bring the people back. That what is going to happen my guess. Who knows?!

o/ Angar How are you doing?

I would love to see something like that but i doubt they will ever release the models. Perhaps we can wish for new arenas.

Something similar was build in Command & Conquer and Battle for Middle Earth series from EA. Had really fun creating maps for Battle for Middle Earth, made hundreds of them :D
