Rework preawakening classes

    Useless skills like kicks

    Outdated/unexpanded mechanics like Heilang

    AoEs scaled to pve from 3 years ago

    “Evasion” skills that don’t actually evade because of a lack of I frame

    “Ultimate” skills that can’t benefit from absolutes


    The list goes on.


    Everything from warrior to ninja/Kuno or wiz/witch needs a pre awakening mordernization. Between the original vision, awakening, and now whatever the heck we are in now, these classes need to be renewed.

    the last time they "reworked" them was just increase the damage without touching the superarmor/frontal guard, lol. I really wish these idiots actually play their own game

    Even changing defensive properties wouldn’t make them comparable to post awakening classes.

    What they need to focus on are:

    Animation times
    Cancel points
    Special mechanics
    Hit boxes

    Don’t get me wrong, defensive properties are important, but I feel the base skills should be looked at instead of just slapping SA or FG on 10 different skills to bring back.

    The only thing that I feel would be fine with just adding protections are movement skills.

    "rework said content" is a very very broad type of suggestion

    can you break down you thoughts into specific one line requests?

    for example, "rework heilang of tamer" is a broad request versus "increase hp of heilang by 10%" is a specific request

    "Evasion" skill on Ranger costs 250 stam, no protections, moves you like 1 step over, not far enough to avoid anything.

    Equivalent skill on every other class (that I checked) costs less stam or can be upgraded to reduce stam costs. Not that they're useful on other classes either, but it's almost like a sign the developers hate us poor Rangers. :<

    Iirc it was a nerf from back before awakening to stop shotgun spam.

    No need to stop shot gun spam. It´s actually a pretty weak skill on far distance and multiple targets (some Ranger say it´s "trash"). It´s only powerful against a single target and in relatively close range. It´s "perceived" to be a "killer skill" just because of this special scenario. Even in PvE, where you usually hit multiple targets, this is not the skill of choice. It can be used as an opener in order to KD a pack of mobs with inflicting low damage though (KD not possible in PvP), or you use it to kite a single mob (for example Griffons).

    So, Shot gun is not always the better option and we do not spam it.

    Like getting SA for Guardian?

    It seems, the Scrum team were talking:

    PO: "Look other classes have like 10 SA and FG skills. Rangers have just two. The players will complain. We probably need to give her another one. Any suggestions?" ,

    Dev: "Shot gun!"

    PO: "Shot gun? No Shot gun is already OP, we need to talk later about Shot gun, especially we need to prevent that this skill can be spammed".

    Dev: "PW, maybe"

    PO: "Don´t make her too strong!! We need to sell the male Ranger, you know!? Anyway, Ranger can shoot always from a safe distance, she does not need SA or FG anyway."

    Dev: "But ..."
    PO: "Let assign this to Guardian, then no one can complain she has no SA! :D"

    Dev: "But ..."

    PO: "Any concerns?"
