Thoughts on Player 2 Player Trade (again probably)

Would trading between players be a good idea or a bad idea if designed properly?

    I'm sure it has been discussed before, but I had to throw my suggestion in . From the feedback I've seen in the community, trade is mostly difficult to manage to keep a gold seller free system, but while eliminating the intrusion is nice, in an ideal world, players would be able to trade without that worry. My question (and suggestion) is: would it be possible to tie trading privileges between players directly to the in game skill of trading? For example; A Beginner in the Life Skill of Trade would not be able to trade with other players while a Master would be allowed the maximum options, e.g., number of items, value of items, types of items, etc. It might even boost the in game economy with those that may otherwise have written off Trade entirely. I suppose there will always be a way to break a system if it is allowed at all, but to me, it just seemed like a potentially fun way for a player and deterrent for an exploiter.

    Well that's a massive fail because they are thousands of gold seller around and that since the release, and now they dont even have to log on your account and grind the money for you, just have to join guild and press one button to receive billions for cheap

    Yes trade idea is really fair due mainly to gold sellers but i think this idea can be improve like in EVE Online.

    For exemple actually in BDO you can only trade imperial and standard.
    You have to check products disponibility on each area for improving your trade level, ok ?

    Imagine now instead of making stupid round circle on the map, you can accept contract from a player for :
    - moving item from a deposit to an other.
    - Take one or more mercenary for secure the travel
    - Get XP and payment if contract is ok based on distance and time to deliver.
    - Get something like penality if you don't deliver the trade in the time ( Xdays / Xweek ... )
    - Possibility to take an insurance for the trade.

    Ok, it's not trading directly between players, but it can highly improve the gameplay by creation of trading guild or something like this.

    I definitely think it would be a great improvement to the game but they would need to do something to stop people selling silver and items for real money

    Why is it a good thing?
    Out of scamming/RMT you can do nothing with it.
    You get gear from quests.
    You get CP from quests.
    You get silver from quests.

    The only thing you would throw to another are superitems etc. to gain money out of the deal.

    Well my RNG is rather bad whereas others have it easy hence some players tet / pen lots gear to sell while others are using all their resources and getting nowhere. So if we could player trade then people could directly sell to someone else and there could easily be a cap on the price range so no problem really. Could use the same price range as market. This would make it abit easier for players. Also there’s the fact that people getting lucky with drops while others unlucky so could sell to them. Item for item trades would need to be within certain price match or top up with silver. Just makes the game more smooth and gets players being nice to each other making a better community. Can’t see a down side to it

    I will always support player 2 player trade. Anyone who thinks it can't be done without destroying the game with goldsellers hasn't bothered to listen to the dozens of systems players have proposed over the years. Any who thinks there isn't already a goldseller problem in this game has their eyes closed and their ears covered. Goldsellers are just sell grinding services by logging into accounts and manually making the silver, like a human bot, all this lack of p2p trade has done is limit players' ability to cooperate and socialise with each other.

    My husband and I play together. We wish they would offer marriage in-game. Allowing us to use the same house, but... The items that are trade able right now are so limited. And when you do trade they are bound to that toon's inventory.. Super frustrating. When he gives me pots they don't stack with the ones already in my inventory and I can't put them in storage to pull out on another toon.

    I don't believe we should be able to freely trade gear among each other and bypass the market place, but defiantly more options of what we are allowed to trade. IE Food, pots, pet food, life skill tools. Defiantly take the bound to toon away. Don't allow to be sold on the market but I should be able to put it in my storage.

    its simple to solve to keep the gold sellers away and have p2p trade system if we got for eg. kzaraka worth 90m on market and ur guild mate got one on sell for us he can sell it for us on market average price simple ez

    Just heavily gate it by time and trade rate and it will defeat the point of rmt. It is doable even without those limitations though. Every MMORPG has gold sellers, if you wish to manage the problem better, endorsing it might let you actually manage it even if it is virtually impossible for the problem to go away.
