If only pop-ins were the biggest technical issue this games engine had....

Fix fps influencing speed, fix desync paradise, optimize better for mass scale combat

I don't think that is possible. Every single mmo has that issue when it comes to mass scale combat. Some people believe that Dx12/Vulkan would solve the problem. But I don't think so.

Like Cata said, I doubt you can run the game in its current form at 4k/60fps constently , let alone 120 fps.
would be a waste of $ for them. get new hardware.

"Doubt X" considering its inherent to the game + the fact streamers have it and multiple reports on this sub forum.(this on high end pc's too)

You probably don't notice it or have gotten used to it.

Perhaps better Crossfire and SLI support for BDO might prove to the best performance enhancing option for the game.

Amd doesn't do crossfire anymore, it seems nvidia still does though. If I remember right its now up to the developers to implement multi gpu support and I believe it only works with dx12. Vulkan might of been updated to do the same thing but I'm not too sure.
