    Hello,

It's really annoying when you can't even get close to Velia shore because of tons of afk ships. Even more annoying when you take your ship out from wharf and you can't move it even a bit because it's being blocked by all those ships. Something needs to be done about this, so here are few ideas:

1st solution: Auto-hide in town wharf if not used for some period of time (for longer than 30 minutes for example)

2nd: Give us an option to disable ships that are idle and no one stands on them.

3rd: (at least) allow ships to sail through each other to prevent being blocked by another ship.

Store the ship after 10 - 15min of inactivity if you are in a safe zone with a wharf keeper close to it.

That's what 1st point covers, but with more inactivity time. Maybe 1 hour is too long, but 30 minutes would be ok i guess

wish they do something I been stuck to were have to log out of toon and back in just to get ship out of the air so to can get off it. People leave there ship in the way till vell take them out come back and dump them in the ways for another week.

There should be some silver/h cost into keeping them parked there. It would solve this issue and also would serve as a silversink which would help the economy. (And would be realistic too.)

    Maybe a bit more realism?

Don't allow ships to get to close to the shore .
And if wanted to take it further, like the above ship will get stuck and requires recovery.

Part of this problem could be fixed by allowing a player to dismount their ship directly to the wharf and mount the ship directly from the wharf all from a further distance than is currently allowed.

I'm afraid this would not address the problem of ships choked in the wharf area (cause obviously you need to be able to get your ship close to the wharf). Even more, people trying to avoid getting stuck in the shore while still getting as close to town as possible, would clog wharf area even more. I honestly think ship being auto-stored in wharf after some time of inactivity (providing that ship is located near a town wharf, ofc) would be the best solution, and also the easiest for devs to implement.

For real - do something about it, finally. At least make ships not block against each other so they don't glitch out like here - After getting my ship out the wharf and pressing R I couldn't even let the ship's wheel go, had to relog. This is getting kinda ridiculous.

    Hi

Just a friendly reminder of what needs instant fixing. This is Velia... oh, sorry, this is area behind Velia, because to Velia itself you can't actually get. Hey, here's an idea - let Velia shore be an area where you can destroy a ship without losing karma.

ships slip through other ship in the blue zone.
They just need to increase the size of the blue zone near velia.
It would not solve everything, but at least : it would help.

I like this, would make rafts viable and necessary, you could store one per ship to get back to land.

Let's start from this image there is no ship in the port. The first player arrives and anchors his ship, decides to get off it and go to the port. As soon as you get off it, a 5-minute counter appears below the image of your boat with which you can go to the helm or call it if it is far away. That image I mean.

    Ways to fix this:
1- The counter reaches 0 and the ship is automatically saved in the port. [Only available on islands with space to store boats]. If the ship is attacked the counter is reset. If the player returns to this using (R) on any element of the ship the counter disappears. (This idea saves the ship and cleans the area, but skips the player's decision not to keep it in port.)

Variant 1 - The counter reaches 0 and the ship loses its collisions and becomes transparent to facilitate vision for the rest of the players. Thanks to this everything can pass through it, except when a player presses (R) to go up the stairs to the ship, then he would recover the collisions and would no longer be transparent. (This idea respects the player's decision not to save it in the port but it is more expensive in resources for the game / server).

2- The islands with a port have an action area and any boat that remains in the area for 1 minute, the CPU forces the player to enter a forced route mode to the port and everyone on the ship stops being able to move freely. . The ship moves itself to the port and the players under CPU control go down to the port, once everyone has gotten off the ship it saves itself and the players can move freely. Within the zone it is impossible to anchor the boat or leave the rudder. If the player leaves the area before the minute has elapsed, the counter vanishes. All other players who do not control the ship before the counter reaches 0 will be able to jump into the water to avoid being affected and swim ashore in a hurry.

If in case 1 another player uses his ship, he must dodge it until after 5 minutes, or it is saved or it can be crossed.

If in case 2 another player uses his ship, he will be affected by the area and the CPU will avoid colliding players and ships with each other until they recover their due collisions once they are all ashore and the ship has been saved.

Now let's start from the other perspective, we want to leave the port and go sailing. Once we got the boat out.

    Ways to fix this:
1- The boat does not have collisions only for other boats for 5 minutes, if nobody uses R in it, it is saved when the counter ends. If someone goes up the assumptions of going down apply in case 1 or variant 1 above explained. Once the boat is not in collision with any other boat, it again has collisions with other boats.

Variant 1- The ship does not have collisions for players or ships, you will have to jump into the water and use the mentioned image to go to the helm of the ship by means of movement controlled by CPU. [Only available to the boat owner / officer or guild leader in case of Guild galleys]. Only the mentioned owners can see the ship without transparency, the rest will see it transparent to help visualize only the player's ship. Once at the helm, the boat is no longer transparent and will collide again if there is no other boat to collide with. If you do not go to the helm for 5 minutes, it is automatically saved.

2- Thanks to the area once the ship is invoked it appears without collisions for players or ships, your player is controlled by CPU and gets on the ship until the rudder immediately after leaving the area of influence of the port and once outside recovers its coliders and the player can move again by himself. The rest of the players must swim or wait elsewhere to be picked up. During this displacement one is immune to point 2 explained above.

After they changed the Velia port - it become a awful place:

    1) You have to do obstacle race to get to the wharf manager thru all this useless s***t on the way.
    2) You have to run almost full circle from Storage Manager to Wharf Manager.
    3) Huge amout of boats becomes a problem, because devs dont give a F about anything and they did the savezone so tiny that boats just accumulating as rubbish and preventing movement (that's what topic starter says).
    4) getting from the boat to land you sometimes fall into water, and you have to swim a lot, because this damned pier have only 2 places to escape from water ( SHOULD BE ANY PLACE AT THIS Pier).

Well... I have no hope they will change it, because I've reported to support another much valuable issues(bugs) to fix, and it's being already half of a year and still nothing.

They could fix the problem of getting to the wharf by having a wharf icon that will take you direct to the wharf manager just as you can click the anchor icon to move to your ship. The range on both icons should be considerably larger at town ports.

I suggested this one a year ago. It would seem that they would rather side with the griefers and inconsiderate children than those that play nice. Of late people have been blowing the ships up that have blocked the approach to the wharf, but now I see that they are putting in place the ability to see who blew up your ship so you can then war dec them I guess. So once again Kakao shows they care less about those that are here to enjoy the game and play nice and would rather side with the griefers. It would be so simple just to have them auto dock to the wharf is left unattended for 15 mins.
