We tend to get things randomly. There could be a reason, as to what it is I have no clue.

    Forums are outdated.
Twitter/Discord is a far better way of communicating anything.

Combine that with PA who doesn't want to communicate with Kakao, as they discover what's in the next patch at the last minute.

You are wrong, twitter/facebook/discord is 3rd soft platforms that not only force you to watch ads and collect you data ( in case of discord you paid with you metadata), they not part of Kakao Games and should not be used as main source of communications. Forcing customers using 3rd side platform they don't want to communicate is not only non profession its also disrespectful for you customers.

Most gaming companies use twitter, FB and discord. Yes they have forums but for the fastest push information out there they use other social media platforms since the larger playbase does not use the forums.

Also LOL really complaining about collecting your data..... guess you dont have a cell phone nor use any internet since you do know everything you do someone is collecting data. From your net provider to your cell provider

You are missing main point, why would i use 3rd site sources if there is official source, using 3rd site sources to increase you audience its one, but abandon you own official source and use 3rd side sources as main source of communications is totally different thing.
And yes i'm have a phone, android phone, and yes i don't have any of that twitter/facebook/discord sht on my phone. And yes i'm understand that there is no way to stay private anymore, but at least you could avoid sharing you data with company's that have nothing to do with you.

Edit - Also hope you understand situation that happens right now, there is no GM/CM communication with forums at all, they don't post outside of patch notes, even bot that posted auto reply in bug section are gone.

You can limit the spread of data collection, it's not a fate. Just because data is collected doesn't mean you have to abandon everything and let companies collect more than they should.

Fortunately, there are still a lot of people who know that and refuse to use these media unnecessarily.

Facebook isn't made for business communication and that's what killed it. Insisting on invading people close interests with a flood of advertisement turned it from a social network predatory about your private life into a full blown ad hammering, aggressive marketing tool... but inefficient. Too much noise.

Twitter is fine for announcers if you just consult those who interest you, and Kakao should use Twitter to make their announcement. The incorrect use is when individuals reply. Don't do that, you're just food. Take it for what it is : short announcements. Ads that you pick.

Discord is an IRC made even heavier. Didn't know it was possible. It has its use for communities, just like IRC. But this isn't what big publishers should use. It fools nobody, they aren't closer to the players, they are still stuck in their obligation of reserve. So at best it's ads, and it's not a good platform for it, particularly when you already have your own website that you can polish and make beautiful announcements. At worse it's where some overzealous GM can powertrip and blow a fuse, which will be bad for the communication.

Interviews and articles on specialised website and papers also make sense.

Otherwise to communicate, Kakao has their website and the launcher of the game. The launcher is where they can be sure players will see their communication. If they hope to be read, at least there's a chance here.

And as there are different ways to communicate, they should make sure that there's a place where you can find everything that's been said. And the best place to reference that is the website, with a link in the launcher. Good publishers at least write an article on their website saying "hey check out this interview on website.com!" when they aren't directly writing the news. Kakao doesn't do that because they hired random people from a job lootbox.

Is that the thing where they send hordes of monsters towards players, and the top rankings grant accessory's? Except we dont use rifles, we use char skills, and Shai buff strategies?

Yea, they told us about that BS awhile ago on the forums.

People are so interested in receiving promotional emails that publishers have to give ingame rewards for subscribing to a newsletter.
