This is the only thing I still like, and the only reason I still "play"
This is truly the beauty of bdo, the vast and rich variety in playstyles! If only we could get more battlegrounds with objectives or arsha arena on serverqueue!

I think most on these forum agree without such a feature. BDO would have been had just as low population numbers as BnS, Tera, Skyforge, and all of the other Korean P2W titles re released into the West.
I mean why quit a game where you don't even lose time AFK progressing?
Sry bröv, i know this post is a bit dated but i had to mention it anyway cus you missed a point i like about the game.
> No soul binding ********. So your progress kinda resets but not really since you can get your money back partially. Especially now with the new market. There even was a time where you couldnt sell gear like for example Dragon Slayer weapons by coding. Now you can.
> And of course this:
Cus lets be honest only 1% of the worlds population knows how to show up prepared AND on time.
There are two things I mainly love about BDO:
1. The fact that money (silver) matters and that there are so many enjoyable ways to obtain it.
2. The game world is alive and interesting and it is very easy to get lost in all the activities it presents.
-Open world PVP
-Endless progression via different routes
-open world pvo
-mah bois and gurls
Even in tray, it still takes some resources. Resources that my not-too-recent computer better use on making MHW look better.
But I play BDO on my cloud based machine so meh.
With my P5000 I can play BDO and two other extensive games on Maximum settings without sweating.
Graphics, combat system and the sandbox gameplay. all the rest is ****. Rng is ****, ap brackets are ****, pvp is gearcarried ****. Lifeskill is nice too
True words. But I like open world pvp in general though.. The rush when someone jump you. the revenge and the satisfaction when you kill them the toxic trolling afterwards.
yes BDO's pvp is based a lot on gear and its sadly very quickly over. I used to play AOW (age of wulin EU) same reason I played that game. was teh open world pvp and probably the toxicity.
But seriously apart from my scythe.
-Character creation is awesome
-The world is beautiful
-The combat is fun and looks great
I play on an i3-4360 and a R9270 GPU so I have to go med to low when I dont want less than 30fps.. But even with that it looks fine and better than most other mmorpgs.
Side note: People say this game is unoptimized. My pc cannot run GW2 or ESO on min graphics in massive team battles but o nBDO i easily get 50fps at karanda or in Siege war with a i3 and 2gb GPU.. that says a lot
Dating NPC’s. In no other game can my character go out to the movies with a smelly, sweaty dwarven blacksmith!
